second question. . . how did you get into psychonauts?

My sister infected me with her brain poison.

Nah but for real, she got into it in November 2022, and then I got into it in January 2023. It's all Raz's fault for being so endearing. It was over for me when I drew him for the first time. I just kept drawing more and more characters. It's like crack to me. Then she got the game and I watched her play it. Good times. It's kind of funny since I'm the eldest and usually it's me getting her into the things I like.

Here is one of my earliest drawings of Sasha that I never posted. It was done from memory. It's from January 22, 2023.

what made you start posting to tumblr?

I wanted to share my artwork again after many years of being reclusive in private Discord servers. My other art accounts are for my finished/polished drawings, so I wanted something where I can dump doodle things. I REFUSE to EVER set foot on Twitter, and many other art websites are so small… So there I was, making a Tumblr account.

I also wanted to be able to interact better with fans of things I like. Posting on deviantART sucks now, and unless you're already famous or posting every day, you won't get much feedback. No one's really gonna point and go crazy with you over the thing you like anymore. Tumblr just seemed like the only "real" place left to post art and socialize. I didn't want to join a Psychonauts server because it's just too much of a gamble to find a good server. I really don't like joining random servers. Joining one now would defeat the purpose of me posting on Tumblr to begin with.

It's been two years since I joined Tumblr. Thank you for the kind words and support on my artwork. Let's try something fun, maybe an AMA? It doesn't even have to be a Psychonauts-related question. Just no deep personal questions, so an AMAA? (Ask me almost anything)

I was taking a bit of a break this month.

I saw this post and I became enamored with the idea of Milka having crow friends.

YAAAAAAAY MEGAMAN!! I was also encouraged to make a version with text.

Did you know that it is very fun to draw the campers while listening to music they would never listen to? I drew some of my favorite pictures of Bobby while listening to Rihanna. I recommend it too.

i always struggle to find background music when drawing certain characters. maybe i Should just listen to shakira when drawing mikhail. LOL.
