My Concept Art and Realistic Concept Art
More realistic concept art can have a simple presentation but is extremely detailed in characters
Tumblr media
When I create concept art I like adding a lot to the canvas; expressions and different poses other then the character, sometimes I may not even add shading to the character and keep it as a solid colour (Some finished cartoons do this such as Bojack Horseman and Steven Universe, shading can be added to add intensity to a specific scene or when strong lights are present)
Tumblr media
When creating humanoid characters I do try and get the anatomy as accurate as I can to how human anatomy is suppose to be realistically, if they just so happen to have wings I use bird anatomy to determine how they would work on a really human subject.
Tumblr media
I do not consider myself to have a realistic art style at all but I do follow realistic references, anthropomorphic animals are a big part of that kind of category where real examples are needed when it come to the shape and anatomy of the face.
Tumblr media
Saige is possibly one of my favourite (but older) examples of my anthropomorphic characters, I had to research owls and other characters to create him.

Tumblr media
Zine Example 4-
Another Zine that uses mostly pictures and also having a limited colour palette like the ones previously mentioned.
Tumblr media
Zine Example 5-
This Zine Example is much detailed the colour palette contains more shades of greens blues and a bit of pink placed only in a little amount of places. the pages are full but the boxes and circles are all placed neatly, not too cramped.
Tumblr media
Zine Example 5.1- Cover of Zine Example
Tumblr media
Zine Example 6-
This Zine appears to be very old, no specific colour palette however it is made of some type of fabric and contains short sentences.
Tumblr media
Zine Example 7-
a hand made one using traditional art and contains paragraphs, judging by the title this part of the zine is talking about the d.c. march

Charles and Ray Eames House of Cards
Charles and Ray Eames were married and creative partners involved in industrial design, they contributed to the development of both architecter and furniture the Eames lounge chair and ottomen being one of the well known ones that were released in 1956
Tumblr media
created the Giant House of Cards in 1953 to continue the original in 1952, a year before. Out of the whole series this one is the largest allowing much taller structures to be built.
Tumblr media
The Eameses created their splints from wood veneers, they used a resin glue to stick the veneers togther and using heat and pressure shapes them into curves. When plywood splits were introduced  they replace the metal traction spilits that usually caused gangrene due to blood circulation issues.
Tumblr media
examples of their architecture are:
-St, Marys Church in Helena-West  Helena, Arkansas 1934
-Meyer House, Huntleigh, Missouri 1936-1938
-St. Marys Catholic Church, Paragould, Arkansas 1935
-Dean House 1930s
-Bridge House (Eames-Saarinen) 1945
In June of 2008 the US postal service released a pane of 16 stamps clebrating some of the designs of Charles and Ray Eames. In 1978 they won the Royal Gold Medal in recognition to their contribution to international architecture, and they obtained the Twenty Five Year reward that is given to those tha raised a buling that has kept is high standards for the last 25 to 35 years in both in significance and design

Mono-Printing and Carbon Printing (outcomes)
Mono Printing is done using: a plastic board, a rubber paint roller, ink, and a pen or pencil.
first put some ink onto the plastic board and used the roller to read it around, try not to add to much or the paper will stick to the whole board and just make the paper al one colour.
next place the paper over the board and do not lean on it, if you lean on t the ink will take the shape of your arm or more.
we either used a photocopied version of the original college as paper (picture side facing up) or put it on top of a separate piece of paper being used for the mono-printing, the second option is better so the college can stay separate from the mono print and nor b double sided (print on one side, college on the other)
press the pen or pencil against the paper and draw around the outlines of the collage so the ink can ‘focus’ on the area your pen is going across
afterward lift the paper off the ink and let it dry, it is unlikely that you will get perfect lines without some ink being stuck on the parts that are suppose to be blank, I had three attempts at trying to get the lines as clean as possible.

House of Cards Steps
(due to missing images, step by steps have been drawn insted)
First cut out a piece of the (photocopied) image out the match the shape of the cardboard rectangle or square. A craft knife and a ruler is recomended.
Tumblr media
Using PVA glue or a glue stick apply it to the back of the image.
Tumblr media
Carefully stick it to the cardboard piece to avoid air bubbles and wrinkles in the paper.
Tumblr media
Cut little slits into the cardboard preferably with the craft knife
Tumblr media
This is roughly what is should look like repeat the process with as many pieces as you think will work/ you want to use.
Tumblr media
Slot them all together to get a small sculpture, building, craft.
(the image below is a illistrated version of my final out come)

My (real) final outcome-

Kawaii Faces :3
We have done kawaii faces and sentient food with said kawaii faces.
Kawaii is the japanese word for cute and has become a very well known and popular word for awhile.
First we drew some simple faces (ignore the doodles at the top)
Tumblr media
And then progressed from there with adding bodies, heads, other details. Afterwards making a whole group of tiny ghosts with random expressions from what we did at the start.
Tumblr media
Next we drew some food adding cute faces another thing that was and still is reletivly popular on merchandise and in the chibi anime artstyle, then selecting certain food and placing them in a senario i did a TAG senario then a campfire senario.
