Good reminder!
Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth. And praised be to God Most High, Who delivered your enemies into your hand. -Genesis 14:19-20
Just when abram will celebrate his victories against his enemies, Melchizedek came to remind him of something, a message to bring humility to a heart that will be clothed with pride, a message that will enlightened a man who thinks he is the one who won the fight. Abram, it was God’s mighty hand who killed the enemy, it is God who deserves all the praise because of this victory. A simple reminder that needs not to be forgotten.
In this Christian race, all of us needs a Melchizedek in our lives. A person who will reminds us that we need no glory to the work we do, but give it all to the One who deserves all praise. To remind us, that in every fight that we won against any temptation or trials, it comes not on our own strength but the Lord. To reminds us that a humble heart will bring more glory to God than a heart that is filled with pride.
Let us always remember to praise God in everything, and do all things for His glory.
