Quote
The way I see it- if you find a box in the forest, conveniently when you’re looking for a pedestal to hold the weight of your own body, and miraculously it does what it should— is what it needs to be already—you are faced with a decision: deconstruct and rebuild, break something apart and try to make it better, risk cutting too much, losing what works, in the hopes of creating a more perfect structure. But if I were in the forest— and I found a box that worked for what it were intended to do— I wouldn’t tear it apart. I would use it, until it broke down with time and wear. Only then I would cut it, mend it, make it into something that works again. I would let the solution be as simple as it seemed.
