Minecraft 1.8.2 Official Download
Finally, after many weeks of development and seven pre-releases, Minecraft 1.8.2 is ready for release. Version 1.8.2 is also fully compatible with all previous server versions (1.8 and 1.8.1).
Because this is important, let me repeat that last sentence:
Please make sure that you are in the correct server mode (online mode/offline mode) when you start the 1.8.2 server for the first time, because profiles are not compatible between these two server modes.

Minecraft 1.8.2 Pre-release 1 – Christmas Gift Edition
Just in time before the holidays, we have the pre-release for 1.8.2 ready. There are some bug fixes and performance tweaks we wanted to get out to you before most of us leave for vacation during the Christmas holidays.
As always, there are some bugs fixed:
Hostile mobs continue to follow/attack you in spectator mode
Explosion force on entities is directionally biased
Explosion physics changed, range of some TNT cannons greatly reduced
Aside from bug fixes and performance increases this update includes cookies, milk and of course lots of hugs. Don’t open your gifts before Christmas!
The Minecraft team and everybody else at Mojang wish you happy holidays and a great transition into the new year!
To get pre-releases, open your launcher and press the “New Profile” button. Call it “pre-releases” and check the box saying “Enable experimental development snapshots” and save. To switch to the normal version, you can select it in the dropdown at the bottom left corner of the launcher. Back up your world first or run the game on in a different folder (See the “new profile” dialog).

ChickenShed Mod 1.8/1.7.10/1.7.2
ChickenShed Mod 1.8/1.7.10/1.7.2 – Not a shed of chickens. This mod is about chickens shedding their feathers.
This is a simple two-class mod that makes it so that chickens will shed a feather now and then. It also makes it so that upon death, they are guaranteed to drop at least one feather. Lastly, baby chickens will now also drop a single feather upon death.
ChickenShed has several configurable options including 4 booleans (true or false) and 1 numerical input.
Configuration:
Booleans:
Is the mod disabled? (true or false)
Do baby chickens drop feathers on death? (true or false)
Do you want the mod to change feather drops upon killing a chicken? (true or false)
Is the shedding of a feather timed with the laying of an egg? (true or false)
Numerical Input:
Generally how long does it take for chickens to shed their feathers? Your input will have 6000 added to it, thus making the lowest possible at 6000 (half the time it takes for eggs to drop). The default input is 26000 (+6000 = 32000), which is twice as long as it takes for chickens to lay their eggs.
The other uses besides not being required to kill chickens may be lost on you, so this is a list of things you can use the feathers for:
Vanilla uses:
Arrows
Book and Quill
Fireworks (Burst Effect)
How to install ChickenShed Mod:
Download and install Minecraft Forge

MrCrayfish’s Construction Mod 1.7.2/1.6.4
About MrCrayfish’s Construction Mod for Minecraft 1.7.2/1.6.4
Ever wanted to create awesome buildings but were too lazy and/or didn’t know how to build? Well this is the mod for you. This mod allows you to construct building but all you have to do is provide the materials! Download building packs to increase the range of buildings you can construct or download user submitted buildings.
In this mod, there are 4 main items/blocks which are involved of the creation of a structure.
The Blueprint: A Blueprint is the key to making any structure as it holds the plans on it. I decided this would be a great thing to implement as I wanted to get that real life feel of when constructing a building. The Blueprint can hold any plans you want. (Read Custom Buildings).
Planning Table: You can can’t fly a plane without training, same with building, you can’t build a structure without a plan. This is where the Planning Table comes in. The Planning Table draws the designs onto the Blueprint at the cost of a certain amount of Ink. The bigger the structure, the more Ink that is required.
Construction Block: I needed a way to translate the plans from the Blueprint to tell me the materials needed. The Construction Block can do that. It will display every required block/item needed to generate the structure. Once you have them, you can proceed to construct your building by placing the required blocks/items into the slots provided. Press the start button to begin the construction process.
The Hammer: This is where I have been inspired from Age of Empires (A.O.E.). Once you have the required materials placed into the Construction Block and you have pressed the Start button, you will need to get a Hammer. You begin the construction process by hitting the Hammer on the Construction Block. Now this is where it gets very unique! Every 10 hits on the Construction Block, it will generate 1 layer starting from the bottom until you get to the top.

EvilCraft Mod 1.7.10/1.7.2/1.6.4
EvilCraft Mod 1.7.10/1.7.2/1.6.4 is a mod developed by two guys who wanted to get some experience in Minecraft modding. This mod basically adds various evil things to Minecraft, from everything such as little flying monsters that will follow you around and try to poison you, to bottles that allow you to store and control the weather.
As of 0.5.0 we provide full support for Minecraft version 1.7.10 only. Should there however be some game-breaking bugs or things we can fix that aren’t too time-consuming, we might provide a bug-fix release for older minecraft versions.New features will only be supported for the 1.7.10 though. You are of course more than welcome to download an older version if you wish to play this mod with an older Minecraft version.
Machines
Blood Chest Ever had to repair that precious enchanted diamond sword, only to find out that your limited supply of diamonds has run out? Then you may find the blood chest a very handy addition ! Just put in whatever tool you want and the blood chest will gradually repair it at only the expense of some blood. To fill the blood chest, just insert any item containing blood into the very left slot and watch how the internal blood buffer fills up. But beware … this chest might add some nasty effects to your repaired item (NOTE: this feature can be disabled in the configuration file).
Recipe: i Blood Infuser As its name suggests, the blood infuser can infuse or fill items with blood. Simply put an item containing blood in the left slot to fill up the internal blood buffer and put an item in the slot directly to the right of the liquid meter to start infusing or filling items with blood. Some items that can be filled with blood are vanilla buckets, blood containers and the blood extractor. The blood infuser is also the only way to gain dark power gems and undead saplings.
Recipe: i Box of Eternal Closure Simply put, this box allows you to capture Vengeance Spirits using a Vengeance Focus. Once you have filled this box, you can go ahead and use it inside a Spirit Furnace, which will then work as a basic mob drop generator. These boxes can be crafted aswel as found in dungeon chests. Note however, when crafting or finding one, they might already contain something…
Recipe: i Environmental Accumulator The environmental accumulator allows you to fill weather containers with the weather that is currently active. You do this by throwing an empty weather container into the brown beam emitted by the accumulator. This will suck up the weather, bottle it into the weather container and change the weather to its complete opposite (sunshine becomes rain, rain/lightning becomes sunshine). Once used, the beam of the environmental accumulator will become black, which means that it is currently in a cooldown state. It will remain in this state for about half a Minecraft day, and you can see that it has returned to its originally state because the beam will change back to a brown color. (NOTE: the cooldown time can be changed in the configuration file) When this block in recharging, you should get away as fast as possible, because the machine will start accumulating energy from the environment. This will degrade a certain area around the Environmental Accumulator and it will also trigger a bunch of possible bad effects. These effects include (but are not limited to) Biome degradation, Knockbacks, Nausea and Terraforming. All of these effects can be disabled from within the config file if they seem too evil for you. Note that this block can not be crafted or picked up and that these blocks only spawn at the centre of dark temples. Purifier You know that the Blood Chest could add some bad enchantments to your tools, right? Well, now there is a way to circumvent this uncomfortability. The Purifier runs on blood that can be inserted with regular buckets, or your favorite fluid pipes. You just right click with your cursed tool, and for each bucket that is inside the Purifier, one level of bad enchantment will go off the tool. Right click with an empty hand to get back your tool. But hold on, that is not all! The Purifier can also be used to remove random enchantments from tools and move them to books. Since regular books are not ‘spongy’ enough, you will have to infuse a book with blood to make a Blook, you can insert that inside the Purifier together with your tool. From the moment the Purifier is completely filled with blood, the process will begin.
Recipe: i Sanguinary Pedestal It appears that mobs keep dropping from the skies forming Blood Stained Blocks. Since it is quite tiring to manually extract this blood from these blocks, you can now build a pedestal that will automatically extract all stained blocks in a 5×5 area and export it to any fluid accepting pipe or block below or next to it.
Recipe: i Spirit Furnace EvilCraft’s first multi-block structure! The Spirit Furnace works like a basic mob drop generator; As long as you supply it with blood and put a Box of Eternal Closure that contains a Vengeance Spirit in its left inventory slot, it will cook that captured mob over and over and collect the drops in the four inventory slot to the right. In order to build a Spirit Furnace, you simply need to build a rectangle shape of Dark Blood Bricks that is hollow inside, at least of size 1x1x1 INSIDE (this means 3x3x3 on the OUTSIDE) and has EXACTLY one Spirit Furnace (more will NOT work) block inside of one of its walls. Note that depending on the size of the spirit you want to cook, you might have to increase the size of this multi-block so the mob actually has to the space to spawn inside of it.
Recipe: i Spirit Reanimator Spirits contained in a Box of Eternal Closure seem to be forever lost, or are they? When placing an egg and Box of Eternal Closure inside this machine, the spirit inside the given box can be revived at the cost of a large amount of Blood. The spirit will return to the state before it’s birth, when it was contained in a spawn egg. Note that only mobs who have a spawn egg can be revived in this manner.
Recipe: i
Fluids
Blood Yeah… its liquid blood… To obtain blood you can right click a blood stained block with a blood extractor. This blood can then be used in a blood infuser and blood chest and stored in blood containers, blood extractors or regular vanilla buckets. You can place blood in the world, just like most liquids, after which it will turn into hardened blood after some time, except when it’s raining (see the section about hardened blood for more information about this). Poison EvilCraft also adds liquid poison, but don’t worry you won’t find it spawning in the world, well … at least not yet. To get some poison, just put a water bucket and an empty bucket and 4 of any poisoned item in a crafting table and you will obtain a bucket of poison. Examples of poisoned items are poisoned potatoes and poison sacs.
World Generation
Dark Ore For now, EvilCraft adds only one new ore to the world generation, called dark ore. This ore spawns from Y-levels 6 to 66 (see what we did there) and drops dark gems and crushed dark gems upon breaking. You will at least need an iron tier pickaxe to mine it and fortune does have an effect on the drop rate of the crushed gems. Silverfish Spawn Silverfish spawn blocks can now spawn in any biome! Netherfish Spawn Since we added a new mob called netherfish to the game, we needed a way to spawn them. So beware when breaking netherrack, netherbrick or soul sand in the nether, because some rather unexpected mobs might spawn… Dark Temple When exploring, you might come across some weird-looking structures called dark temples. You can find them at higher places (above Y-level 90) and they should be easy to spot because of the brown beacon beam that is emitted by the environmental accumulator at the centre of the structure. Also note that dark temples are the only places where you can find environmental accumulators. Evil Dungeon These are kinda like vanilla spawners, except that all mossy cobblestone is replaced by bloody cobblestone and instead of 1 vanilla spawner, you might find a little more than one… So, if it’s more dangerous, then what is the gain you might ask? Well, not only the number of spawners is increased, but also the number of chests.
Blocks
Blood Stained Block All living creatures are composed of blood, amongst other things, so every now and then a mob might spill its blood on the block it has died upon. These blocks are called blood stained blocks and you can extract blood from them by shift + right clicking them with a blood extractor. When in creative mod, these blocks can be created by simply shift-right clicking on any block with a Creative Blood Drop. Bloody Cobblestone These blocks can only be found in evil dungeons and serve the same functionality as mossy cobblestone does for vanilla dungeons. Dark Block Acts as a storage block for dark gems. They’re pretty dark and have connected textures by default, so they might be useful for building.
Recipe: i Dark Brick Just like vanilla stone bricks, you can craft this block by putting four Dark Blocks inside a crafting table. Besides looking like a darker version of stone bricks, this block does nothing special on its own. Recipe: i Dark Blood Brick In order to craft this block, you have to put a Dark Brick inside a Blood Infuser or, if you have Thermal Expansion installed, you can also use a Fluid Transposer. These blocks are the building blocks that are used to make Spirit Furnaces. Recipe: i Dark Tank Previously there were the Blood Containers for Blood storage, but now there are the Dark Tanks! This block can story any type of fluid. It exists in both item and block form, it will keep it’s internal Fluid contents when broken. When right-clicking in the air with the block in item-mode, it will toggle auto-supply. When in auto-supply mode, it will fill your currently held item (if it accepts Blood). When right-clicking the block when in the world, you can toggle auto-export to the bottom side if possible. When you still have old Blood Containers in your world, you can simply place them in a crafting grid to receive an equivalent Dark Tank while keeping their Blood contents. When first crafted, it can store 16 buckets worth of liquids. It can be expanded by combining tanks in a crafting grid up until 65536 buckets of storage. (This amount can even be further increased by changing your config file.)
Recipe: i Excrement Pile The whole digestion cycle in Minecraft has finally been completed ! Animals will drop excrement piles, which act as bonemeal after a while when placed on the ground. The only way to pick up an excrement pile is by cleaning it up with a broom, and you better clean up your farm every once in a while because these piles can stack like snow. Shift + right clicking with an excrement pile will act as bonemeal, but it is three times more effective as regular bonemeal. Also look out when you encounter such a pile because it has a chance of poisoning when you walk through them (NOTE: for animals and entities this can be changed in the configuration file). Hardened Blood When you place liquid blood into the world when no rain is falling on it, it will change into hardened blood after a small time. These blocks will drop hardened blood shards, when a flint and steel is used on them and will turn back into liquid blood when rain falls on them. Finally, these blocks have connected textures and might be useful when building, just don’t forget to put a roof above these blocks, or parts of your house might literally wash away when it starts to rain… Lightning Bomb If you ever wanted to lure mobs or players into a trap which killed them with lightning, then the lightning bomb is your new friend ! Just like tnt, it will lit a fuse when a redstone signal is applied to it, but instead of spawning a simple explosion, it will spawn several lightning bolts on the exact same place as it was placed. Recipe: i Obscured Glass You can see through it like regular glass, but it doesn’t let through any light at all. Might be useful for building mob farms with a glass ceiling. Also it has a connected texture (I think it’s clear by now that we love connected textures).
Recipe: i Spiked Plate There already exist all kinds of pressure plates, but now there are also pressure plates that can only be activated when mobs walk on them. Unfortunately they also damage any mob that is triggering them. Even worse, when places on aSanguinary Pedestal, they will collect Blood from the damaged mob and send it to the pedestal below it. Nasty stuff… Recipe: i Undead Tree Who said only zombies can come back from the dead? Just put a dead bush, found in deserts into a blood infuser and you will get an undead sapling, which will grow undead trees. These trees look just like any other tree, except that they have undead wood for their trunk and branches and that the undead leaves spawned by this tree drip with blood.
Items
Blood Containers As of version 0.6.0 these containers are not usable anymore, use Dark Tanks instead. Blood containers are storages for all your blood needs! They come in three sizes: cell, can and basin, in increasing order of size. There is also one Creative Blood Container available (creative-mode only) which can be used as infinite source and drain for blood. When you shift-right click a blood container, you will activate auto-refill mode, which will automatically refill an item you hold in your hand with blood, given that item can contain blood. This can prove useful when using the blood pearl of teleportation. If you activate multiple blood containers, the rate at which the held item is refilled will be proportional to the number of activated containers. Recipes: Blood Extractor Probably one of the first EvilCraft items you will craft, the blood extractor allows you to extract blood from blood stained blocks, which will provide your main (and only) source of blood. Moreover, if you have a blood extractor in your inventory when you hit mobs, it will automatically fill up with blood. The bigger the mob, the more blood it has, so the faster the blood extractor will fill up. Recipe: i Blood Infusion Core Surround a dark power gem with 9 hardened blood shards and you will get a blood infusion core, which is the main item used to craft EvilCraft machines such as the blood infuser and blood chest. Recipe: i Blood Pearl of Teleportation The blood pearl of teleportation gives you the powers of an enderman! Or at least… sort of. This pearl actually has the same functionality as an ender pearl: when thrown it will teleport you to blood the pearl has fallen on, except that this pearl will not be used up when thrown, instead it uses up a small amount of blood stored inside of it when thrown. To refill the pearl you can either infuse it with blood in a blood infuser or activate a blood container, after which it will refill whenever you hold the pearl in your hand. Recipe: i Blook This is just a Book infused with blood so that it can be used in the Purifier. Bound Blood Drop Only available when Blood Magic is installed! An item that is, just like the Blood Magic items, bound to your Soul Network. It allows for some deep interaction between EvilCraft and Blood Magic by allowing you to access your Soul Network as a simple Blood fluid container that can be used in all EvilCraft machines. It even has auto-supply mode to power all your EvilCraft tools and gadgets. The conversion rate between Life Essence and Blood is equal to the one defined in the config file for all Blood equivalents. Broom Let’s see, what else is evil? Ah yes! Witches! They fly on brooms don’t they? Well now you can too. Just right click a broom to mount it or shift right click it to place it into the world. The broom can be controlled by pressing forward whilst looking in the direction you want to fly to, so the actual steering is done by moving the mouse. Note that at the moment brooms can only be found in dungeon chests, but don’t worry we’ve got some great plans for the future which might allow you to craft maybe just a little more than this basic broom… Burning GemStone If you ever have to deal with Vengeance Spirit, you might want to craft this little item. To craft it, simply put a Dark Blockinside a furnace. But what does it actually do? Well, whenever a Vengeance Spirit attacks you, you tend to take damage. However, if you have this item on your hotbar, that damage will get converted into hunger! Nifty, isn’t it? Just remember that you might get hungry very fast when fighting a lot of Vengeance Spirits, so be sure to pack a stack of your favourite food (tasty chicken omnomnom)! Recipe: i Crushed Dark Gem Crushed Dark Gems can be found as a drop from Dark Ores or they can be made by putting Dark Gems/Ores inside a Thermal Expansion Pulverizer. You will need these items to craft various Vengeance items, as well as the Box of Eternal Closure. Next to that it can also be used as fuel inside a furnace, where it can burn for quite a while. Dark Gem Dark gems are dropped when mining a dark ore, which is added to the world generation just like any ore and can be crafted into storage blocks, called dark blocks. Recipe: i Dark Power Gem This item can be crafted by infusing a dark gem with blood using the blood infuser. Since the blood infuser also requires a dark power gem to craft, an alternative way to craft this item is by throwing a dark gem in a pool of at least 5 liquid bloodblocks placed in the world, after which it will suck up these blood blocks and drop a dark power gem. Dark Stick At the moment this item has no use at all, except that it works in all recipes which require vanilla sticks. We do however have some plans to use this item in recipes in the future. Recipe: i Exalted Crafter A portable item crafter! It has an inventory that is linked to your personal Ender Chest. When the crafter is somewhere inside your inventory, you can press the Exalted Crafter hotkey (By default ‘C’) to open the first crafter in your inventory. Pressing that hotkey again will clear the crafting grid. When this item is empowered (struck by lightning), it can not despawn or be destroyed. There also exists a wooden variant that has it’s own inventory instead of connecting to your Ender Chest. Has optional support for Inventory Tweaks.
Recipe: i Hardened Blood Shard This item is used in the recipes for several items and can be obtained by using a flint and steel on a hardened bloodblock. You can also silk touch a hardened blood block and put in a furnace to get a higher amount of shards. It’s red, so maybe you could use it as some kind of red dye? Humanoid Flesh Humanoid flesh will be dropped when players die. They have similar, yet less powerful, abilities as werewolf flesh. Make sure you don’t eat your own flesh though, might cause a bad day… Inverted Potentia The mysterious power of Potentia Spheres can be inverted to do even crazier things! When it is inverted, you can’t do a lot with it, you will have to empower it to access it’s real potential. You can do this by infusing it with the power of lightning, this can be done by either throwing it into the Environmental Accumulator while there is thunder, or by somehow striking it with an actual lightning strike (make sure it doesn’t burn!). Recipe: i Invigorating Pendant The Minecraft world is filled of bad potion effects. With this pendant, you can get rid of those bad effects on yourself at the cost of some Blood in this item. The worse the bad effect, the more Blood will be drained. This item can fit into your Baubles inventory. Recipe: i Kineticator This item can move things towards you within a certain area, for example items and experience orbs. This item needs blood to function. It can be enabled by Shift-Right clicking and it’s range can be configured by right-clicking with the item. Fun fact: This item will also function when dropped as item in the world, it doesn’t even despawn! Recipe: i Lightning Grenade Lightning is now completely under you control with the lightning grenade! Simply throw it like an ender pearl and it will spawn lightning on the block it hits when it falls on the ground. Very useful when you want to burn down forests, create supercharged creepers or kill your friends with lightning bolts.
Recipe: i Mace of Distortion Why would you kill every mob in the area one by one? With the Mace of Distortion, you can target all the mobs in a certain area all at once. You can increase this area by clicking and holding right-click, from the moment your release, the damage will be done. A nice side-effect of this weapon is the fact that all the entities withing that given radius also get a knockback dependant on the radius of the attack. The damage and knockback distance can be changed by toggling between power-levels, which can be done by Shift-Right clicking with the item. This item runs on Blood, and the larger the area and power-level, the more blood it will drain for each attack. Note that this weapon also has a decent attack damage when just using it as a regular hit weapon, but this does also drain some blood and will become unusable when ran out of blood.
Recipe: i Necromancer Staff Ever wanted to use those nasty Zombies in your own advantage? Well, no you can! Just aim at a player (or any other entity that is attackable by zombies) and right click. This will drain some blood of your staff, and send a horde of zombies (3 to 5) after that entity. After a short period of time (or when the target entity dies), these zombies will die again. This item was suggested by PhillipPriddy on Reddit! Recipe: i Poison Sac It looks like an ink sac and it’s filled with poison! These items can only be obtained by killing a Poisonous Libelle. This item acts as poisoned item besides poisoned potatoes and can thus be used in recipes that require poisoned items. Potentia Sphere A pretty expensive item that has the potential to do great things. It can for example be infused with blood to make Ender Pearls. This can however be disabled in the config since this is a pretty powerful recipe. Recipe: i Repelling Kineticator Works just the same as the regular Kineticator[\u], with the only difference that it moves items and experience further away, instead of attracting it. Recipe: i Spike Just a simple item used in various crafting recipes. Recipe: i Vengeance Focus It’s purple, round and has a hole in the middle. Oh yeah, you can also use this nifty item to temporarily paralyseVengeance Spirits and force them into a Box of Eternal Closure. To do that, simply point the focus at a randomVengeance Spirit while right-clicking. If there is a Box of Eternal Closure nearby the spirit should be weakened by the beam and after a couple of seconds it should be sucked into the box.
Recipe: i Vengeance Pickaxe Don’t let this pickaxe fool you, it has an awesome fortune X (!) enchant, but that doesn’t mean you can use without consequences. Without spoiling too much: make sure you’re armored up when using this tool, because you might attract quite a horde of certain mobs when mining. If armor doesn’t do the job, maybe consider putting a Burning Gemstone into your inventory, just to be on the safe side…
Recipe: i Vein Sword A very simple early-game sword having the same durability as a gold sword. But this sword has by default Looting II installed on it when crafted. It also provides 2x multiplier for obtaining Blood. Recipe: i Vengeance Ring The vengeance ring allows you to step into the part of the overworld where Vengeance Spirits live. If you activate this ring, you will get a few boosts and all Vengeance Spirits around you will become visible. It’s also worth mentioning thatVengeance Spirits don’t like unexpected visitors, so don’t expect a warm welcome though… Note that if you have Baubles installed, you can also equip this item into the ring slot.
Recipe: i Weather Container Control the weather with weather containers and the environmental accumulator! When a weather container is filled with a specific weather type, you can change the weather to the weather stored in the weather container by throwing it on the ground. When crafting weather containers, they will initially be empty. The only way to fill an empty weather container is by throwing it in the beam of an environmental accumulator, after which the current weather (one of lightning, rain or sunshine) will be bottled into the weather container. Also note that some items such as lightning pearls require specific weather containers in order to be crafted. It appears there are also some secret recipes to craft certain Weather Container types, please refer to NEI for these recipes.
Recipe: i Werewolf Bone An item dropped by werewolves. It might have some fun uses in the near future, but for now it can at least be used to make 15 bonemeal by putting it in a crafting grid. Werewolf Flesh Werewolf flesh is a rare drop which can be obtained from werewolves. Don’t eat it when it is day, you’ll just get a stomach ache, at night however… this flesh will start to glow and might provide some rather useful effects when eaten. Werewolf Fur Another item dropped by werewolves. This item has no real other purpose for now, except that it can be converted into 5 leather by putting it in a crafting grid. Wooden Exalted Crafter A portable item crafter! More information at the Exalted Crafter, works just the same, just with an item-specific inventory. Recipe: i
Entities
Werewolf Beware of these beasts, if you’re not well-prepared they might just single-hit you (literally)! You shouldn’t be able to encounter these at daytime, but look out at night, especially when there is a werewolf villager standing near you… Werewolf Villager Yes, another kind of villager, willing to trade at day but beware of him at night, especially when it is full moon… For now this villager adds some specific EvilCraft item trades, but there’s really nothing you can get exclusively through trading. Rumor has it that villager who are struck by lightning might get werewolf-like traits… Poisonous Libelle Although these little creatures look rather innocent at first sight, you will quickly discover that quite the opposite is true. These nasty little mobs spawn rarely in river biomes and will try to hit whatever entities they come across including players, passive mobs and other poisonous libelles. Upon hitting an entity, they will be poisoned for a short time and they will continue to annoy players by following them for as long as they can… Moreover, they are really quick and rather small, but have really low health (about one hit should suffice to kill them). By default they won’t do direct damage (except for the poison damage) to entities, this can however be enabled in the configs if you like a challenge. They drop poisoned sacs, which can be used in various crafting recipes. Netherfish Since silverfish weren’t evil enough, we added a variant called netherfish to the game. They’re just like silverfish, except you can only find them by breaking monster egg blocks in the nether, which are added to the nether world generation. Oh yeah, did I also mention they can set you on fire? Vengeance Spirits Like their name suggsests, these mobs for the very essence of what was once a living entity. When a mob dies, its spirit is released as a Vengeance Spirit into the world and will keep on roaming the world for a short amount of time before disappearing. There are even some nasty degraded spirits, that are more powerfull than the average spirit. Under normal conditions these spirits should not bother you and you should not even be able to see them. Be carefull when using one of the Vengeance tools such as the Vengeance Ring or Vengeance Pickaxe, because these spirits will come after you! If you need extra protection against these creatures, consider crafting a Burning Gemstone. So is there any use for them besides annoying you? I’m glad you asked! You can actually capture these mobs inside a Box of Eternal Closure using aVengeance Focus. Once captured, you can put the box inside a Spirit Furnace, which will then function as a basic mob drop generator, giving you those precious mob drops you so desire.
Enchantments
General EvilCraft adds four new enchants to Minecraft, which can all be gotten by doing regular ol’ enchanting. Although most enchants are rather useful, some might be pretty … evil … But don’t worry: you can disable every single enchant in the configuration file. Breaking (I,II and III) This is a very evil enchant, which does the exact opposite of the unbreaking enchant: it has a random chance of increasing the damage an item takes when you use it to a value over one. (NOTE: again, if you find this an annoying feature, you can simply disable it in the configuration file) Life Stealing (I, II and III) As its name implies, this item allows you to steal life from a mob and add it to your own. The more damage you deal with a hit and the higher the level of the enchant, the higher the amount of life added to the player. Poison Tip (I, II, and III) Just as the flame enchant allows you to put mobs on fire, this enchant allows you to poison mobs. This enchant can be put on any weapon (including bows) and the poison effect caused by the enchant will last longer with an increasing level of the poison tip enchant. Unusing (I) Have you ever broken your favourite enchanted pickaxe by accident because you didn’t pay notice to the amount of damage it had taken? The unusing enchant tries to solve exactly this problem! When an item is enchanted with the unusing enchant, you will not be able to use the item when it is about to break and you will only be able to use that item again when it has been (partially) repaired.
Other
Poison Tip Enchantment To get a poison tip enchantment book, you can either try to randomly enchant a book or you can combine a regular book with a poison bucket in a crafting table. Recipe: i Poisonous Potato Becomes poisonous potatoes don’t have much use in vanilla crafting, we’ve added added poisonous potatoes to the list of poisoned items, which allows you to craft a poison bucket when combined with a water bucket. Moreover, poisonous potatoes can also be crafted by combining a regular potato and a poison bucket. Recipe: i Potion of Poison EvilCraft allows you to craft potions of poison without having to do any brewing: simply combine a glass bottle with apoison bucket. Recipe: i

Nether Ores Mod 1.7.10, 1.6.4, 1.5.2
What is Nether Ores Mod 1.7.10, 1.6.4, 1.5.2
Ores in the Nether! Coal, diamond, gold, iron, lapis, redstone, tin, copper, emerald, silver, lead, uranium, and nikolite. Non-vanilla ores only spawn if a mod that uses them exists. All nether ores turn into their surface counterparts in a furnace – some (like redstone or coal) may need to be smacked with a pick or macerated to be made useful.
New in 2.x is the return of the not-bizarrely-bright texture, new ores, and way more config options! Now you can control how often nether ores spawn on a per-ore basis!
How to install Nether Ores Mod:
Download and install Minecraft Forge
Install PowerCrystals Core (For Minecraft 1.6.4 or older).
Install CoFH Core (For Minecraft 1.7.10 and newer).

MineFactory Reloaded Mod 1.7.10/1.6.4
MineFactory Reloaded Mod 1.7.10/1.6.4 aims to automate a number of tasks that previously would be difficult, boring, or work-intensive. It also provides some additional support blocks and machines.
Basics
The first thing you’ll need to make is rubber. You can find MFR rubber trees in swamps – look for the bright green leaves – but IC2 rubber will also work. The config file allows you to disable MFR rubber trees in worldgen in case you prefer IC2 rubber trees. Once you have raw rubber, smelt it once to get rubber bars, and then again to get plastic:
(Top: IC2 rubberballs, bottom: MFR rubberbars)
Then, take your raw plastic and craft it into plastic sheets:
Finally, make machine blocks:
And a hammer: You’ll need it to rotate machines. OmniTools supports it as of 3.0.0, for those of you rolling your eyes at ‘yet another tool’.
There’s also “ceramic dyes”, used for a few things later. Substitute the dye of your choice to change the color.
Due to MFR liquids being placeable in the world, milk buckets can no longer be drank from. Instead, you can make milk bottles:
There is the ability to smelt sugar into sugar charcoal: Weaker than standard charcoal, but easy to come by.
Some machines accept upgrades: There are numerous upgrade tiers, all crafted like this but with the top material changed (to gold, bronze, silver, diamonds, etc). Upgrades boost the effective radius of a machine. Machines with upgrade slots will have a single slot with a ‘ghosted’ upgrade spite in it.
I’ll also take a moment to explain the MFR GUIs. Most machines will look like this: Some may not have an inventory or a liquid storage bar. From left to right, the four bars at the right are:
Liquid stored
Power stored
Progress towards completion, which is not always used
Idle countdown, which occurs if a machine can’t do anything (to reduce CPU load)
Several have specialized GUIs, and their individual entries will describe that.
All machines can be broken by hand; you don’t even need a pick. Breaking a machine will drop its items but destroy any power, liquid, or work progress it has built up.
Finally, all machines can be powered by BuildCraft power (or Thermal Expansion conduits) or IC2 power (up to MV only!). All machines can be serviced by any standard liquid pipes (BC or TE), and will attempt to drop items into BC pipes first, then adjacent inventories, and finally will just drop items onto the ground.
Plant Farming
The first thing you’ll need is a planter:
Planters affect a 3x3x1 area above them. Place dirt* in a 3×3 grid, and center the planter directly under it. Place plants in the planter, and it will plant them. It understands every vanilla plant, from wheat to carrots to trees to cocoa, as well as IC2 rubber trees, RP2 rubber trees and flax, ExtraBiomesXL trees, and everything from Pam’s HarvestCraft except apple trees.
*assuming your plant grows in dirt. If you’re farming netherwart, use soulsand, etc.
The planter GUI looks like this:
If you do not set anything in the Filter slots, it will plant whatever wherever. If you do set a filter, it will divide its area into 9 segments (matching the colors on top of the planter) and will put only that plant in that segment. In that way, the planter can manage up to 9 distinct plants.
Planters accept upgrades.
Next, you’ll want a harvester:
Harvesters affect a 3x3x1 area in front of them. Center the harvester so its animated face is aimed at the middle of one of the sides of the 3×3 area immediately above your dirt block (so it’s touching any plants in that tile) and power it. It understands the same set of plants the planter does, as well as some extra things like flowers and tall grass. Harvesters slowly produce sludge, a liquid which will be covered later.
Harvesters also have a special GUI: It has three extra settings:
“Shear Leaves”: if Yes, it will act like shears on leaf blocks. You’ll get no saplings, but a ton of leaf blocks. Useful if you want to have a ton of cheap scaffolding and you have spare saplings. (Screenshot is old, text says ‘shear’ now)
“Small Shrooms”: if Yes, it will harvest small mushrooms instead of ignoring them. This is provided so you can decide between mushroom-spreading farms and mushroom-growing farms.
“Jungle Wood”: if Yes, it will harvest (vanilla) jungle wood instead of ignoring it. This is provided so you can grow cocoa, as it must be attached to jungle wood.
Note for server owners: when the Harvester encounters a tree, it expands its search radius to find tree blocks. A larger search area means it can cut down giant trees, but it doesn’t make any attempts to make sure that what it’s cutting down is the same tree, and larger areas mean higher CPU load. The default settings are intended to cover large oak trees, but can be adjusted in the config. The height it searches for cactus and sugarcane can also be changed, in case you ever need to do that.
Harvesters accept upgrades. Note that the GUI screenshot above is old and doesn’t show the upgrade slot.
Next, you’ll probably want a fertilizer: Fertilizers are placed the same way as harvesters, except on a separate side. They act like the player using bonemeal. They do not run off bonemeal by default (but this can be enabled in the config), but instead on a special MFR fertilizer: If IC2 is installed, IC2’s fertilizer will also work; likewise with Forestry and its fertilizer. The fertilizer understands everything the planter does (try it on flax!).
The Fertilizer accepts upgrades.
Finally, there’s the new Fruit Picker: The Fruit Picker is used to pick fruit off trees where the tree or plant itself is not cut down. By default it understands cocoa as well as fruit from Harvestcraft.
Animal/Mob Farming
Animal farming has changed wildly from MFR 1.x. All animal machines, unless otherwise specified, affect a 5×5 area. It all now starts with a breeder:
The breeder will consume wheat to place any animals in front of it ‘in love’. Once they breed, you’ll want to use a Chronotyper: Which can be used to filter children from adults, or vice-versa. It will place sorted animals behind it. Note that chronotyped babies will still try to walk towards their parents because you are a horrible person.
The Chronotyper GUI has a single button that allows you to toggle between babies and adults as the target.
If they aren’t growing up fast enough, get a Vet: Vets can use syringes on animals. The base syringe is fairly easy to make: And then you can make health syringes: Or growth syringes: If golden carrots are too expensive, you can try your luck at zombie syringes which usually work: But I take no responsibility for a sudden growth of undead.
There are de-zombification syringes, which can cure villagers: And slime embiggening syringes to make slimes bigger, solving a vital problem everybody faces
Health syringes heal animals a small amount. Growth syringes turn babies into adults. There are rumors that this works on villagers too…
All syringes are reusable and turn into the empty version when used. You can use them from your hand, as well.
Once they grow up, you can use a second Chronotyper to pull the adults out. You now have two choices.
You can use a Rancher: The MFR 2.x Rancher is very different from its older counterpart. It can do the following:
Milk from cows and Mooshrooms
Mushroom soup from Mooshrooms (put empty bowls in the inventory)
Wool from sheep
Ink from squid
If you want the death drops, you’ll need to kill them. You could stab them, but why do the work when you can use a Grinder: These things instantly kill any mob in front of them and produce one of their drops at random. Grinders slowly produce liquid Mob Essence as a side effect, which will be covered later. They work on any vanilla mob (except villagers), allowing you to build fuilly automated harvesters for things like blaze rods or spider eyes that normally require the player to kill the mob or a lot of extra effort. They will even retrieve any enchanted items! The Grider must be manually programmed by me for any modded mob. If your favorite mod lacks support, tell me.
Finally, you should consider putting Sewers under your animal pens: Sewers very slowly generate Sewage, a liquid that will be covered later. They do not require power. Sewers only cover a 1×1 area above them, unlike other animal machines. The more animals within a sewer’s operation area, and the bigger they are, the more sewage is produced.
Sewers accept upgrades. Sewers will shut down if they detect another sewer within their operational area.
And if you’re wondering how to get the animals to your base, try a Safari Net: Did you know that every time you lure animals with food or transport them by minecarts for miles a ghast cries? It’s true! And now you can harvest that power to transport them much more easily. Safari nets work like programmable mob spawn eggs – right click on a mob to capture it, and then again on the ground to place it. Works on hostile mobs, but not villagers. And it even gets the spawn egg colors while ‘full’. Infinitely reusable!
Over time those ghast tears turn into slimes, which are a pale imitation of their ghastly brothers but still do the job: This version is cheaper but will be consumed when the mob is placed.
For the mean people among you, there’s the Jailer’s Safari Net: Mobs placed with this will not despawn. This is not 100% guaranteed because minecraft, but it works in most cases.
Have you wanted to capture mobs from a distance, or perhaps shower your friends in creeprs? The Safari Net Launcher has your back: Just rightclick to fire.
If you find a mob spawner but it’s not in a useful place, get a Portaspawner: Rightclick on a (vanilla) spawner to pick it up, then rightclick again to place it. This item is only good for a single use. Note that it respects any custom spawner settings, in case a mod generates a special one.
If you’re low on food, there’s the Slaughterhouse: The slaughterhouse acts similar to the grinder, except it produces liquid meat instead of mob essence (and no items). It also sometimes produces pink slime instead. Both of these can be sent to a meat packer: Liquid meat turns into meat ingots, and pink slime turns into meat nuggets. These can be crafted into each other and meat blocks: You can also cook and eat them of course.
Sometimes placing pink slime liquid in the world will turn it into Pink Slimes. They drop pink slimeballs, but they can drop meat too if you’re creative about things.
Item Transport
One of the oldest features of MineFactory (even before the Reloaded) has been conveyor belts. They’re still here: (It makes 16 at a time, this is an old screenshot). Conveyors carry entities along them – items for one, but any mob or player as well. Make escalators!
You can now dye them with ceramic dyes:
To get things onto conveyors, use an Ejector: A redstone pulse will pull from any adjacent inventories and eject out the ‘hole’.
Items on conveyors can be sorted with Item Routers: The slots correspond to the colored sides. It will output into the air, an adjacent inventory, or a BuildCraft pipe. It also has a single-slot internal inventory so incoming pipes/etc can place things into it. The top is a valid input but not output to avoid items bouncing in and out forever.
Item routers can pull things off MFR conveyors placed on top of them if that item has a valid route in the router.
There’s also an Enchantment Router: It acts kind of like the item router, but sorts by enchantments. If you put a sword with Sharpness I and Knockback I in it, and item with Sharpness or Knockback will be matched. Finally, a way to dispose of all of those items with Bane of Arthropods!
You can end conveyors with an Item Collector: Any items that bump into them will be placed into adjacent chests. It understands sided inventories (like furnaces), too. Unlike Item Routers, they will never drop into the world.
What if you want to sort liquids? Well, the Liquid Router has that covered: Behaves like the Item Router. Works with BC pipes and TE liquiducts. Should work with most tanks and tank-like machines. To sort, place a container of the liquid you want in the matching slot – i.e. a bucket of water in the red slot will make water go to the red side.
Processing
Next up, we have the Fisher: The fisher must be placed over at least 3x3x1 of water, so that the bottom face of the fisher is touching the center water tile. It will then slowly produce fish.
There’s also a block breaker: Pretty much every mod has one of these, this is just around for save compatibility more than anything. That and people that like conveyor belts I guess.
The Weather Collector can generate water from rain or snowballs from snow: It does nothing in a desert. There’s no rain there, what did you expect? It’s most intended for people playing with mods that disable infinite water.
The sludge from earlier? It goes into a Sludge Boiler: Which will slowly turn it into sand, dirt, and clay (and very rarely soulsand). If you have ExtraBiomesXL installed, it will also produce cracked sand and quicksand occasionally. Warning: standing next to an active sludge boiler may be hazardous to your health.
Sewage goes into a composter: Which produces Fertilizer items.
Ever have the feeling that there just isn’t enough lava in the world? The Lava Fabricator has your back: 20kMJ/Bucket.
There’s also an Oil Fabricator for those of you who feel the urge to pollute as much as possible: 588kMJ/B (+12kMJ to refine it to fuel, which is worth 600kMJ/B). This thing is very slow due to the immense energy draw, so be patient.
Mob essence (and a ton of power) goes into an Auto-Enchanter: Which will install a random enchantment onto whatever is inside of it (it uses the same algorithm the standard enchanting table does). It has its own GUI as well: Allowing you to adjust the target level. Energy/Mob Essence cost to enchant is roughly (level^4) – low levels are cheap, 30 is gonna take a while.
The Auto-Enchanter can be used to take a second (and more) pass at enchanting items, but note that the cost goes up extremely fast relative to the number of enchantments already on the item!
As a new feature, you can “enchant” empty bottles and it will generate XP bottles. You can also drink mob essence with the straw to gain a level. If you want to get mob essence from your levels, use an XP extractor:
You can now go the other way around too, with an Auto-Disenchanter: This machine has two input and two output slots. Enchanted items and books are placed in the inputs. When it completes, it will remove one enchantment at random from the item and install it on the book. The item will then be damaged – if this would destroy the tool, it will be lost. Top/bottom are input, sides are output. If you’re using an inventory management mod (like MFR) that understands 1.5’s sided inventory system, you don’t need to worry about the books and items getting mixed up, the machine will automatically filter them.
Finally, there’s an Auto-Anvil too: It acts much like a vanilla anvil, but it cannot rename items.
If you aren’t happy with which mobs you have, you can use an Auto-Spawner instead: It has a single slot which must be programmed with a safari net. However, whichever mob is in the net will be spawned. Spawning mobs requires mob essence and (a lot of) power.
The Auto-Spawner has an exact mode. When this is active, the mob contained in the safari net will be duplicated exactly, including things like villager trade data, sheep wool color, etc. However, inventory is not duplicated to prevent abuse. Exact mode requires more time, power, and essence.
Do you have too much cobble? Now you can put it in a Deep Storage Unit: This thing holds up to two billion of whatever you put inside it. The GUI looks like this: You can change which sides connect to the IN slots vs the OUT slots, as well as manipulate what it contains. It will attempt to keep a full stack of its stored items in the output slots, and if the item is stackable, will leave one in each of the two input slots so that it’s automatically filtered when connected to pipes/tubes/whatever (two input slots so that a stack of 64 can fit in one go). In addition, if you break it, it will remember its contents.
There is a config option to enable a cheaper recipe, if the requirement of ender pearls seems too expensive for what it does.
MFR also has the autocrafter to end all autocrafters, the LiquiCrafter: It has a crazy GUI that looks like this: Here I am using it to make IC2 coolant cells. It works like the following:
Set recipe template at top left.
Place materials used in the two rows below the template.
Apply redstone pulse.
Remove produced item from output.
In addition, it can use liquid in internal tanks to satisfy recipes that call for a filled liquid container. Here I’m using its water tank to fulfill the water bucket requirement for 10k coolant cells, but it will also work with lava buckets, or water cells, or any other liquid container that has been properly registered with Forge. It also understands damagable items – you can use it to mass-produce RP2 microblocks! You just need to put a saw in the resources section. Sides are input (resources), top/bottom are output (output slot). If you’re still confused, I suggest you watch Wylker’s 2.1 video above.
Do you have problems with multiple equivalent ores? Try the Unifier: It has two slots, in (top) and out (bottom). It will attempt to turn anything in the top slot into the first Ore Dictionary entry for that item. For example, you can use this on a Mystcraft Dense Ores age to turn TE, IC2, RP2, Forestry, etc coppers into just one copper. You can tell it up to 9 items to prefer to unify to in the Preferences grid. It can also convert MFR biofuel and Forestry ethanol to each other.
If you need more ores, try the Laser Drill:
Which also needs a Laser Drill Precharger (or 4):
To use this, first, dig a hole to bedrock. Place the drill over the hole. Place 1-4 prechargers facing the drill but one block away from it. When you supply power to the prechargers, the main drill will begin mining and will produce ores out of its top face.
To get a pink slimeball, you need to kill a pink slime. You get pink slimes by placing a bucket of pink slime from the slaughterhouse in the world.
The Laser Drill also comes with Laser Focus items: (one per color)
These bias the drill towards certain ores. For example, red makes redstone more likely. Which is which is up to the player to figure out.
Once you have your ores, try the Block Smasher: This is an in-inventory processing system that will act like a Fortune pick on whatever is sent into it. You can configure the fortune level from 0-3. Levels 1 and above require mob essence to run.
Do you like potions? Try the Auto-Brewer:
Its GUI looks like this:
Set the slots under “Type” to the ingredients you want to add. Then place resources in the resources section and water bottles in the Potion slot. It will process row-by-row. The Auto-Brewer is sideless; any side can be used to extract completed potions or invalid ingredients and add new ingredients and water bottles.
Power
Got too many saplings and seeds? Shove them into a BioReactor: The GUI looks like this: The top 9 slots are input, and the next row of 9 are the internal buffer. Each internal slot must have a distinct type of plant – anything the Planter understands is acceptable fuel. The more types of saplings and seeds (etc) you add, the more fuel it generates per item available, so it’s preferable to have many kinds of things to put it in it. It generates BioFuel, which is sent to a BioFuel Generator:
Which produces BuildCraft energy. If you want IC2 or UE output, use Power Converters.
Decorative
Is your factory not pretty enough? Try stained glass: Makes both panes and blocks, and available in all 16 colors. Note that due to how minecraft’s rendering works, water and ice behind stained glass will be invisible. I cannot fix this. Take this into account when building colorful glass walls in waterfalls. New in 2.2, vanilla glass panes and MFR glass panes will connect to each other. This feature requires overwriting the vanilla glass pane block to work – if another mod does that for some reason, only one will work. If you disable the vanilla glass pane overwrite in the config, they will not connect.
Have you ever wanted to automate playing records? No? Well too bad, you get the Auto Jukebox anyway: The GUI looks like this: The top slot is accessible on all six sides by pipes (etc). If the top slot contains a record, a rising redstone edge will cause it to begin playing that record. If the top slot is empty, a rising redstone edge will cause it to stop playback.
The GUI has buttons for play (needs a record) and stop. It also has a record button. To use that, you put a record in the top slot and a blank record in the bottom slot. It will duplicate the record into the blank record.
You can make Blank Records like this:
Are you tired of your Ice Fortress Of Solitude melting because you wanted to see things? Try our new, unmelting ice: This ice does not melt in the presence of light sources and will not create water sources when broken (but you still need silk touch to move it). Note that this requires overwriting the vanilla ice block to work – if another mod does that for some reason, only one will work. if you disable the vanilla ice overwrite in the config, unmelting ice will be unavailable.
Want to use ice to make your roads slippery but are tired of farming ice? Well, now there’s actual roads: These are slippery like ice but look more like, well, roads. If you want to light up your paths, consider road lights: They will provide light when powered with redstone. If youd prefer to not have to deal with redstone torches, grab an inverted road light: Inverted lights can be turned back into normal ones the same way.
There’s also a bunch of decorative brick types:
The glowstone bricks emit light.
There’s also blackstone and whitestone (for white, replace the ink with sugar):
You can also craft mossy cobble now:
There’s a Spyglass, for reading coordinates of blocks when doing complex builds:
A ruler, for reading distances:
And a Straw, which allows you to drink various liquids found in the world. Warning: drinking some liquids may be bad for your health.
And even Vine Scaffolding, to make building large structures easier: Hold RMB to stack them on each other. Breaking the bottom one will collapse the entire scaffold.
RedNet
This is MFR’s new Redstone Network system. The most basic component is the RedNet cable:
When placed, it will connect to any block it thinks it should. As of this writing, this is any any vanilla block with redstone properties, and any mod block at all. It contains 16 “subnets” that are chosen by rightclicking on the little color band that appears on a connected face with a hammer. You can also use dyes to rotate directly to a color (without consuming the dye). In this way, you can have multiple subnets within the same block by, for example, placing 3 levers around a cable.
RedNet cable carries analog singal levels (with a -1 penalty at the entrance for redstone dust only). A signal strength of 8 at an input will be 8 at the output no matter how far away it is.
Note for server owners: due to the cable not having any visual updates and not linking to vanilla (inert) building materials, this form of cabling is vastly more CPU and network efficient than certain other forms of redstone cable.
Next up is the Programmable RedNet Controller. You first need a PRC Housing: Which you can use as a decroative block, or further craft into the PRC itself: I could write a ton of words about this thing. So I did. There’s an in-game manual you should check out:
What this thing actually is is a collection of logic circuits. It comes with space for six. The (very complex, admittedly) GUI looks like this: “Prev” and “Next” cycle between pages of circuits. “Reinitialize” (which requires two clicks to confirm) will de-program the PRC and eject all expansion cards it contains (see below). To set up a circuit, click on it. You will then get a set of buttons to connect the inputs and outputs of that circuit. These can be connected to I/O (RedNet cables on each face), variables, constants (input only) or null (outputs only). As an example: This PRC is configured for a 1-second timer (square wave), which is output to the “white” subnet of the RedNet cable connected to its east face. It would be very difficult to list every circuit here – you’ll have to wait until I can get a wiki deal going. In the meantime, the vast majority of them are standard EE components like JK flipflops. Note that, like the cable, the PRC is an analog device – you can add and subtract signal values. If a strange value enters a RedNet cable, it will be clamped between 0 and 15 when it reaches an output that doesn’t know about the RedNet API.
Again, if you’ve read this and have no idea what I just said, read the in-game manual. It has pretty complete walkthroughs on how do some neat things with just one PRC and some cables and associated parts.
The PRC can accept up to six upgrade cards, which come in 3 flavors: Each card grants additional circuit pages and additional variables.
There’s also a PRC memory card: When used on a PRC, this will copy its program. Using it on another PRC while it carries a program will install that program on the target PRC. The target must have at least as much space as the source did. To clear it, place it in a crafting grid by itself.
There’s a RedNet meter, too: This will measure all values in a RedNet cable, as well as read out the values of all variables in a PRC.
If you like graphs, try the RedNet Historian: This is somewhat of a WIP, but I wanted to release what I had. Right now, it can display a graph of redstone power over time on any RedNet subnet (change with dye – it doesn’t visually reflect the selected channel yet).
For the musically inclined, there is the RedNote: A RedNet value from 0-120 will trigger a note. Vanilla note blocks have 5 sets of 24 notes (one set per each of 5 ‘instruments’); in RedNote they are all available in sequence. Every other redstone transition will cause it to play a note. For fun, try a sine wave.
Rails
These things were around before Railcraft, but every time I try to get rid of them people tell me I’m ruining Christmas, so they’re still here. You can make them like so:
Passenger rails (lapis, blue) and cargo rails (chests, red) allow you to automatically load and unload people/cargo. Passenger rails grab anyone nearby and do their best to drop them in a safe location, and cargo rails interact with adjacent inventories.
Passenger rail effective radius can be controlled from the config file.

Witchery Mod 1.7.10/1.7.2/1.6.4
Witchery Mod 1.7.10/1.7.2/1.6.4 adds witchcraft and nature magic to Minecraft: cauldrons, broomsticks, ritual circles, magical brews, a bit of necromancy and voodoo for good measure; all topped off with a fetching pointy hat.
Witchery allows players to explore the magical art of witchcraft and though it, to learn to control the natural magic present in the world (and sometimes other dimensions).
Witchery provides several branches of witchcraft for a new witch or warlock to try their hand at. Witchcraft does not really resemble the flashy spell-casting performed by wizards and their ilk. There are no lightning wands or spell books, enchanted armor or flaming swords; instead, a well tended witch’s garden will provide a lot of helpful ingredients for magic that will get you out of the occasional scrape.
There are of course darker sides to magic; and although these may bring power more quickly, the cost may be too high. Making bargains with demons should never be undertaken lightly!
Notable features
Witches Garden
Brewing with a Kettle
Poppets and Voodoo Dolls
Dream Weaving and Spirit World dimension
Circle Magic and Rituals
Necromancy and Demonology
Dimensional Infusions
