might be the wrong place to say this but millennials on social media are SO irritating because of their just... rampant hatred for children. they believe that the opinions of children are inherently lesser just because they're young which is like,, incredibly discriminatory when you acknowledge that children are an oppressed social class.
#“dont you have homework to do🤓 stupid minor”#and it's in response to a child talking about their own oppression#(e.g. child abuse or pedophilia etc)#believe it or not kids are allowed to have opinions on those things considering theyre the ones affected by it#and they shouldnt be shamed by corny millenials who get off on those things#certain adults seem to believe that anyone under 18 should have no say in anything that has even a tangential relationship to sex#but that they should simultaneously be extremely receptive to any and all things sexual and that if theyre not theyre puritans#like what????#you basically just want kids to be subservient husks#it's so weird#fact of the matter is that things like pedophilia and incest and child abuse are used to oppress children#and stripping children of their agency to speak out against those things is PERPETUATING that abuse#not that the people perpetuating it give a shit though#theyre too busy donating 10% of their monthly wage to ao3 or whatever#arthur waffling
