(all that was going on was overly friendly arm touches and a lot of back and forth and how prettily you smile at him when he helps you save someone’s life in a new way for the first time, and ask him if he wants to get a drink with you after the shift to celebrate.) unfortunately you are very nice and nod and agree with him and shake your head like you’re stupid for thinking you and robby could possibly be anything more than just an intern and her attending. you go home and mope about it and drink wine about it and then try to move on, like a mature person would. unfortunately when robby learns that you and some surgery resident went on what seems to be a very good first date, he becomes the most immature person alive.

Just imagine that you're going to work on a normal day, everything is semi-okay in Bludhaven today, and you look up and see this asshole just sitting there, not moving. Not doing anything.
