I'm trying to reconnect with sketches

I started a new sketchbook lately and I'm going everyday on Pinterest and chose some picture's I'm trying to draw, it can be anything, anatomy, hand studies, background, celebrities, random poses (that I'm trying to use for characters I love, like this Viktor or the Vander I drew a few days ago), and I'll try to use different techniques on this sketchbook. No pressure, just the feelings and experimentation!

I think Viktor is a very sentimental person but doesn’t let himself hold onto objects of sentiment because then he could lose them. And that would hurt more than never having it at all. Which makes him keeping the blanket extra painful

I think as a culture we have all forgotten that fandom is supposed to be fun.

It’s not that serious.

It was never supposed to be that serious.

Especially since most of the drama and hurt revolves around shipping.

All of the ships are fictional. Being canon doesn’t actually negate the fact that the ship isn’t real. 

No ship, or any aspect of a fictional universe, is important enough to treat another real life human being badly.

So Fear Today Forget Tomorrow chapter 11 was FUCKING AMAZING

All the symbolism, the intimacy. The nuances of Viktor's trauma are explored so thoroughly. And how he sees himself reflected through Powder. How she forgives him for something he did that he can't forgive himself for. And how my dumbass hopes maybe a lesson he learns in this particular universe, through her, is the first steps toward forgiving himself. Probably not, but a person can hope!

This fic has me in a fucking chokehold.
