anyways, i don't like zadr, i really think that's gross,this is not bc zim and dib are of the same gender

actually, i don't like zadr for two reason:

Jhonen Vasquez said that Zim is older than every human alive, so, Zim have 200 years old or smth like, and shipping him with a 12/10 yr old kid is completely disgusting for me

LENGTHY POST ABOUT AN ASK I GOT

I got this ask just a bit ago and I deleted it because it stressed me out and made me rightfully uncomfortable because I don’t like zadr or zagr or any irken x child ships. but i cant stop thinkin about it because it doesn’t sound like the asker person has bad intentions since they dont agree with pr*shipping. (although I dunno where they got the idea that I tell people to bully others. I literally just come here to draw pictures of Zim and Gir frolicking in frutiger aero fruit and then leave. I don’t think I’ve ever used my platform to send people to bully others, because why would I?? i dont even wanna BREATHE the same air as prosh*ppers, let alone get involved with them ) .

Anyway, I thought I’d answer anyway and try to be polite about it since the anon isnt a pr*shipper, which I respect. But the reason z*adr IS classified to be pr*ship is because zim was given the age 160 years. People will be like “uh uh but 1 Irken year is equivalent to 10 earth years so he’d be 16 there” but like. 160 earth years is still equivalent to 160 years of life experience dawg. Think about it, 1 irken year is 10 earth years ok. Imagine how much you grow mentally and experience within 10 years, now imagine that zim has done that shit 16 times. While dib is like, getting ready to go to daycare(not really but yknow what I mean, he’s just a kid) Thats what makes their rival dynamic so funny, that Zim’s most challenging enemy as an advanced alien invader with full military training is just some overzealous kid who’s primarily driven motivation is to be right!!! Its funny as fuck!!! Its even funnier when its NOT a problematic ship, believe it or not!!

There’s also the fact that Zim/tak also just casually make statements related to their age, like in nanozim when zim says “I’ve been flying ships since before you were born” while talking to dib and tak talking about janitorial squad for 70 years, which should already be enough reasoning to not ship them with literal earth children

Anyway, having ships of children and adults is obviously problematic even if the adult is some short ass fruit gusher lookin ass alien I think, because of the implications it has on real life children who are exposed to the idea and might think of it as something normalized when its very harmful for everyone irl who thinks that way

Also gonna be blunt, I know anon DIDNT bring up the “zim is 16 on irk” thing but even then, for the people that DO argue that, I feel like 16 would STILL be really weird if you were only saying that to ship him with the human children characters that are like 11-12, like be fr

Anyway though, sorry for having to talk about this, i dont wanna talk about stuff like this of course. But to be honest, I got kind of annoyed and stressed out over it. Like I said, I appreciate that anon ISNT a pr*shipper but I also dont want anyone to be harmed out of misinfo. But yeah I AM a little annoyed by their assumption that I tell people to bully others, like?? Dude WHEN?? Ive been RACKING my brain trying to find an instance of this but like I have no idea dude. This isnt the first time I’ve gotten an ask that just blatantly assumed stuff about me as a person, so I turned my ask box off. I was really sad about it since I like all the cute happy positive messages I sometimes get but uhhhhhh. Its not worth it when I get anonymous people just assuming things about me when they could just ask, i wouldn’t be mad if someone just asked me something for clarity.

Sorry I’m completely rambling off topic now!!!! Uhh uhh anyway I hope you all have a good rest of your day and stuff. Sorry again

(Edit: hey so in the replies I DID add that I was aware that the specific age of 160 wasn’t confirmed by Jhonen, and that the idea of 160 was roughly calculated going off of Tak’s lines in her episode (im referring to specifically her lines of “it was 50 years ago on the Irken military training planet” and “she said I would have to wait another 70 years”) those years add up to 120, but Tak was, yknow, probably alive for a good while before that too. And since Zim was on the training planet at the same time as Tak when he caused the blackout, they’re likely around the same age. The reason I didn’t bring this up in my main post is because i didn’t think it mattered too much honestly, since my point would still stand, due to the other canon proof I added (like the nanozim thing) I figured “ehhh 120 years or 160 years, i dont think either of them should be shipped with a kid” But there’s been a few replies of people JUST mentioning that instead of anything else I wrote, so I thought I better just add it to the main post.)

Apologizing for being so hostile towards Tord

I would like to apologize for being so hostile towards the real-life Tord. While he may've had insulted communities/religions in the past, I should've known better instead of spamming his DeviantArt page with unnecessarily confrontational comments.

So, wherever Tord is, I hope he had grown and matured, and that he’s living a good life right now. God bless him and everybody who's reading this post. Sorry once again.
