I woke up to a bumblebee crawling on my floor at 10:45 AM today. The thing looked like a cryptid, waking up to something crawling.

But I managed to trap it in the room next door in a medium cup we use for liquids for the washer. Then I found a foam board in another room and tried to get it on it and failed.

All this time it has never flown ONCE. So, imagine my shock when one second it's crawling, then FLYING the next. It played the "I can't fly card" and fooled me.

My mouth immediately shuts "OH FUCK OH FUCK".

So, yeah, now there's a bumblebee in the room next to mine and I don't want to get stung because I have never gotten stung before.

This sucks. Btw I also had a wasp in my room once a while back.

I had a dream last night that I just HAVE to share and document.

Apparently I was an orphan and in the custody of someone who was supposed to be my grandma?? I was in the backseat and never saw her face. But Alastor --the RADIO DEMON -- was there in the passenger seat. Except he wasn't a demon, but a human. Not a deer man. He wanted to adopt me for some reason. And I wanted him to, as well. Because despite being a literal serial killer and cannibal, I think he would be a decent dad. He probably has daddy issues and would want to give a better father-child experience than what he had growing up.

My dream grandma asks why I would want him to take care of me instead of the angels, or something like that. I respond by stating the angels are what do the exterminations and led by Adam, an angel. Why did I know that? Like isn't my dream supposed to take place on earth? Dreams sure are crazy.

Also, side note: I had cat ears for some reason, and hybrid animal-humans were a thing? I wish I had a father figure who stepped up irl.

Part 2 of my trolls 3 rant

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

K, here's something I forgot to mention last time: Tiny Diamond. Why is his voice so low? Being that tiny, it should be much higher.

On that note, why and how can he think and speak like a grown man? Are all baby trolls able to think and talk like an adult? How are trolls even born? Do they just come out of the ground like a goron? How fast or slow are their metabolism and how long do they live?

Come to think of it, I don't think I have seen any other baby trolls around in any of the movies I have seen (I've never seen the second, so I don't know if there have been any in it). They should have answered at least SOME of these questions.

Also, what is a literal 1 month BABY troll doing driving? Why are they letting him? To boost his baby ego? With how John Dory likes to be in control, you'd think he would be the one driving. It IS his bus after all, or did I miss something? Why is Tiny diamond in this movie at all? Nothing would have changed if he was scrapped.

Now moving on to the "villains".

I really liked the concept of a psycho sister roping her pussy brother into whatever she wants, but...there wasn't enough development with either of them, mostly because they didn't get the screen time they deserved to really earn the title of "villain" or "antagonist".

I genuinely laughed at the jokes when the twins were shown. I just wish we had got more of their backstory other than that scene where we learn that they lived in the suburbs and that their parents were dentists.

"Were". Why the past tense? Are they dead metaphorically or literally, or even dead at all? Were their parenting good, bad, or mediocre? I wanted to know why and how Velvet became the way she is every time I saw her. In the one flashback, it seems like she was always a brat, and really had issues. What were her motivations to being the 'bad guy' other than talent and the fame it brought? It really feels like there should have been something more to it than what was shown.

I wanted to hear Veneers singing voice, but he never willingly absorbed Floyd's essence. I mean. He cares enough to not use him himself. That's a redeeming quality. I guess.

Veneer quickly became my favorite trolls character because he had good humor (that sass 🤣) and the potential of being a well developed character, but that potential was wasted by DreamWorks.

I wonder if he was pushed around and bullied by his sister into doing anything she wanted even as small children. I also wonder who he was before she changed him into someone he's not: someone like her. He doesn't want to use Floyd, or kill him, and even suggested they practice. To which Velvet scoffed in disgust.

It would have been interesting if Floyd's words about Velvet actually reached him and actually let him go. Maybe even try to escape with him; as Veneer said, I feel like Velvet would be vindictive enough to literally kill him if his usefulness expired. Literally unhinged.

What if Veneer HAD some talent that he dared not express due to his fear of his sister and her throwing a fit or even attacking him for it? Like, he could actually be good at singing but pretends to suck at it as much as she genuinely does.

Who does their fit? Like, I didn't see a personal designer for their performances anywhere. Veneer could have a talent for fashion design.

Or he could be good at writing songs like the music and or lyrics. That would be awesome and would open the door for original music in the movie.

Where's the villain song that establishes Velvet's role as a villain?

How did they trollnap Floyd anyway?

Couldn't have been Velvet. She would have gotten someone else to do her dirty work for her, so...who did Velvet force to do it? It could really be either Veneer, or Crimp depending on when they met her, if it was before or after the trollnapping.

And Crimp. Every time I saw her, all I could think was "who is this Cousin It looking-ass".

How did she meet them, and is she an assistant? The twins being musical 'talents', you'd think they'd have a manager of some sort.

Maybe even a financer for the concerts and performances? With how they treat her, I'm surprised she hasn't left yet. Sure, she's pathetic and gullible AND naive. But she could have left anytime.

Instead of the opening scene being the origins of the 'Brozone breakup', it would have been better to open with how Floyd was taken. That would have hooked me a bit. And establish who the baddie is right off the bat.

'Show don't tell', as they say.

Dude, what if we got a Veneer solo song reflecting on his past, present, and future? or a duet with Floyd bonding over having controlling siblings? These would have set good character development, I think. And maybe even encourage him to come clean earlier than in cannon. Instead of only coming clean because they were caught and sent to prison (how old are they?). At least he accepted it with a smile. I'll give him that.

Also, why was Crimp the ONLY one to go scot-free? Last time I checked, she wasn't guilt-free. She still helped them, made the shoulder-pads, and didn't help Floyd in any way. Of course, she was a victim of verbal abuse, and really naive. But naivete should not be rewarded. The least sentence she could have for being coerced to be involved in the crimes she listed is community service. I think that's fair.

I might have forgotten some things but this was a long tangent and I'm bad at remembering things. That's all I guess. All this is just my personal opinion, no hate if you actually like this movie.

EDIT: I forgot something. It was Tiny Diamond saying "fuck". Even though it was censored, why did they feel the need to make him say that? Was a 1 month baby swearing supposed to be funny? It wasn't. It didn't fit the tone of the movie either, being a kids movie at that. That's all I forgot.

EDIT 2: I lied. I forgot one more thing.

I've been wondering how long it took the twins to become famous. It couldn't have been overnight. Right??

Imagine in the beginning, after the trollnapping scene they participate in a Mount Rageus thing -a festival, talent show, whatever.

She absorbs Floyd's essence and uses his talent, and wins -if its like America's got talent or something. Or if it's just a yearly festivity, they participate and get recognized by a scout agent. We would then see them grow in popularity and fame exponentially over time.

And after every performance, and every concert...a little bit more of it goes to Velvet's head. Veneer gets more and more concerned about it over time, then disturbed by it, and eventually afraid of her.

Let this be the last thing I forgot. Please brain.

So...just watched the Trolls 3 movie last night...

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

K, let's start with Poppy's secret sister thing. It was boring and unnecessary; It was annoying to hear Poppy go on and on about how great it would be to have a "secret sister". 🙄 And when her long-lost sister is introduced, she wasn't really remarkable, or rememberable, as I FORGOT HER NAME.

It's Viva btw, I had to search that up.

She was so inconsequential, so insignificant, that I don't think ANYTHING would have changed the outcome if they had decided to abort her "character".

Speaking of, she didn't stand out (in terms of personality) among any of the cast, especially when with Poppy. They just copied Poppy's "quirky" personality and pasted it onto Viva and called it a day. That's all she is, a carbon copy. It would have been more interesting if she had a bigger role and a different personality, say a lot less high on sugar and a bit more anxious. I would prefer it if Viva didn't exist, but that's just me. Also, how much older is Viva than Poppy?

Now, I don't know if it was hinted that Poppy had a secret sister in the second movie because I never watched it, and I don't think I want to.

Anyway, what is their dad's deal with keeping secrets? He never apologized to Poppy OR Viva for not being honest.

🙄 Truly, best dad of the year.

Next, the newlyweds. Why did we need to see them riding on the road on their honeymoon? Why couldn't we just have the wedding scene? Also, the jokes weren't funny with the married bergs. I didn't need to know they are into bondage, thank you. All of their screen time after the wedding was boring.

I wish there was more world building to explain why the trolls were living in an abandoned golf course, and why it was abandoned. Why did the newlyweds have to come across it in the first place? What species are even the twins?? We'll get to them later.

Branch and Floyd have the best sibling relationship in the movie and that's sweet. Literally the only positive thing I will say about the movie In this post.

About the music; Would it kill DreamWorks to have original songs instead of only popular songs that were mostly pop? I thought they left that behind. Honestly, I think any other version of the script would have been better than the watered down shit that was all over the place. There were too many songs bombarding the audience (not to mention unoriginal) that it being a musical takes away from the film. They focused too much on having popular music and not enough on the development of the story or plot, world building, and characters--most notably, the supposed "villains" or "antagonists", whatever you want to call to them.

This is getting too long already, so I'm gonna do a part 2, specifically about the twins and what could have been.

Saw the FNAF movie last night, it was awesome. Despite its flaws, it was a good movie, and I don't care what Hollywood ass-kissing critics say.

K, assuming you watched it or just don't care about spoilers....

What I liked:

1. The animatronics themselves; looked lifelike and exactly what I would imagine in real life. They even have the spring lock feature, I think. Let's hope no one ends up accidentally possessing one IRL.

2. William Afton: even while underutilized, was still good and a genuine threat.

3. It was cool to see Vanessa, but never would I have thought she was William's daughter. It's a cool twist, I guess.

Other thoughts:

1. I wish we could've seen their reaction to their aunt's dead body. I mean, his sister saw her on the floor, but she thought she was sleeping. Woulda been nice to have some closure about that.

2. Why was William killing kids and stuffing them into suits? What was his motivation? I want to understand. He was underutilized tbh.

3. Show don't tell. While it's nice getting straight answers in FNAF for once, I would have liked them to show hints and let us connect the dots instead of telling outright.

All in all, It's certainly not perfect, but it doesn't have to be. The movie was for the fans and i wouldn't mind a sequel.

After the post-credit scene, I had an amazing thought: what if blumhouse did Bendy and the ink machine movie? If they can make a good FNAF movie, then surely they could make a good BATIM film adaptation, right?

Happy Halloween!! Here's my Conductor Bendy cosplay! I tried to style the wig myself for the first time, but I cut too much on one side to where i couldn't make an equal horn. So I improvised.

can you tell I suck at styling wigs? I can. Next time I'll just use my own hair and spray it black.
