Black professor wrote about the harrowing reality of fitting a police description
Massachusetts College of Art and Design professor Steve Locke shared a story on his personal blog Saturday about what happened when he wore the above outfit to work Friday, an outfit that police told him matched the description of a robbery suspect in the area. While on his way to get a burrito before work, police stopped Locke near Boston’s Centre street. Locke wrote that the police officer unsnapped his gun’s holster as he approached him, things only got more tense from there.

Run the Jewels drop some major truth a year after Ferguson
“Riots work.” At least, that’s according to Run the Jewels. In a video exclusive to the BBC, Killer Mike discussed how the events that unfolded on the streets of Ferguson last year forever changed the city for the better. And Ferguson’s own law enforcement actually agrees.

What about Jurassic sunshine tho
Just realised that Super Mario Bros and Jurassic Park have followed the same naming convention with their franchises.
Super Mario Bros / Jurassic Park
Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels / Jurassic Park: The Lost World
Super Mario Bros 3 / Jurassic Park 3
Super Mario World / Jurassic World
What I’m saying is I’m very excited about the prospect of Jurassic Galaxy

Man Imprisoned After Filming Eric Garner’s Death, Refusing to Eat, Rat Poison Found in Jail Food
22-year-old Ramsey Orta, the young man who filmed the NYPD killing Eric Garner, was arrested shortly after on trumped up charges. He has since been locked up at the notorious Rikers prison in New York.
It was reported by the New York Post last month that 19 different inmates were denied medical testing after bluish green pellets were found in their food. The prison admitted that these pellets were rat poison, but failed to give the inmates medical attention, and failed to offer any kind of explanation as to why the prison’s food was tainted with rat poison.
Orta was not the only person to be targeted for filming the Garner murder either, Taisha Allen, who also filmed the death of Eric Garner, is speaking out and saying that her involvement with the case has put a target on her back with the NYPD.
Now, we are witnesses of how a man who stood up for our rights, for our equality, a man who tries to prove that for every life deserves to be protected, under pressure of a police state tyranny. He used social media to achieve justice, we must continue his work.

Smartphone records Minneapolis officer making arrest
"Plain and simple, if you fuck with me, I’m going to break your leg before you get the chance to run. I’m being honest I don’t screw around,” the officer said.
Mohamed’s friend said in return, “I never said I was going to run.”
"I’m just giving you a heads up. Just trying to be officer friendly right now,” the officer said.
Faysal Mohamed, 17, sent Fox 9 the video recorded by his friend, which he also posted on his Twitter account. He said after playing basketball at the YMCA on Blaisdell Avenue in south Minneapolis with friends on March 18, police pulled over their car. The four were ordered out, put in hand cuffs, and they waited nearly 45 minutes as police searched their vehicle and did background checks.
“Can you tell me why I’m being arrested?” a friend asks in the video.
“Because I feel like arresting you,” the officer replied.
You fucking see what they do? Absolutely incompetent, rude, criminal behavior of cop shows us the American system of law enforcement. Do you think that if ain’t no killed, then everything is OK? - No. It is not. Such behavior of the police remain unpunished only in a police state. You want to live in such a state? - I do not think so … Social media help us fight tyranny, so let’s use this opportunity.

Every 28 Hours (4/1/2015): Phillip White has become the 290th person killed by the police in 2015. Police have yet to provide any clear reason why he was being pursued. They have tried to claim he was reaching for an officer’s gun, but he died AFTER being hancuffed. He is the second person in as many weeks to die while in the custody of Vineland (NJ) police. Rest in power, Phillip. We fight for you now too. #staywoke #farfromover

'Sex' doesn't sell. Erosion of female self esteem does. The feeling of superiority over women does. Turning women into 'things' to be studied, scrutinized & judged and then calling it 'sex' does. Sex doesn’t sell. Objectification does

Why “good cops” don’t tell on bad cops: They lose their careers and are often harassed by their co-workers, until they quit. Create/Enforce mandatory reporting, and fire cops who fail to report the misdeeds of their co-workers.
This Black woman did the right thing and got punished for it. Hope it makes the #NotAllCops crowd happy to see an actual good cop, but notice their asses are not fighting for her pension. She’s the wrong color, amirite? They are too busy tweeting at us and filling our inboxes with their fake outrage.
