Point-Line-Plane
In the Stage 1: I was asked to draw a GRID of 2.5 cm on a 30x30 cm plane. Using a combination of minimum 2 points and 3 planes or a maximum of 7 points and 5 planes, design a series of spaces across the 30x30 cm field. The problem concentrates on the articulation of space in terms of scale, proportion, balance, and the use of the grid. Pay attention to how the spaces connect with oneanother, and how the grid informs the placement of points and planes. In the Stage 2: I was asked to Prepare 3 planes of corrugated cardboard measuring 30x30 cm each. These three planes were used to construct the X, Y and Z-axis of the cube. The problem starts where you left off the previous stage. The points and planes of the final solution of the previous problem are replicated on the x-y plane. This serves as a point of departure to the design process. The existing point and planes can be modified, and additional elements can be added to "complete" the virtual cube. The orientation of the points and planes in relation to all three axes must be addressed. The individual elements must work together to define space and form a visual and structural system. Of the three original 30x30 cm boards, only the x-y plane will remain.• I was asked to develop a vocabulary of my own through shape rules which articulates my design approach in terms of relating elements with each other and how those combinations relate in other orders.Materials: Wooden linear elements and planes. Corrugated cardboard for mock-up models.

Assignment 12: A SOLID-VOID 3-D DESIGN THROUGH ADDITIVE ASSEMBLAGE
Objective: To make a solid-void 3-D composition by assembling incremental solids of diverse sizes and shapes in a hierarchical order.
Given:
A: 11 Grey cubes (cm, 4x4x4)
B: 7 Yellow rectangular prisms (cm, 2x4x4)
C: 13 Grey triangular prisms (cm, 2x2x2x4)
I was asked to produce the given elements out of Grey/Yellow cartridge paper. These elements are assembled to create a 3-D organization. The assemblage of the elements helped me to define voids which were hierarchically related.I had to make sure that the design develops in all three dimensions of space at an equalmagnitude.I had to pay attention to how the voids connect with one another and how the solids inform the void organization. I was asked to develop a vocabulary of my own through "shape rules" which articulate my design approach in terms of relating the A-B-C elements with each other and how those combinations (9 combinations) relate in other orders.Material that I used Cartridge paper, scissors, scotch tape and pins.
To sum up, this assignment really helped me in developing of my imagination.
