Why are old ARMY's leaving BTS Fandom?
Hello! Finally, decided to post this topic actually. Been wanting to post but I can't find anything to write. I saw this article on Quora Digest and it's kind of interesting since I myself, left the fandom as well.
The most interesting about that article was, there are a lot of old ARMY's leaving is due to, the toxicity of the fandom itself which I asked myself this question, "What toxicity are they talking about?". So, I read a few of them saying that, some fans are toxic especially during the voting period (which I myself can understand too), their popularity, war among other fandoms and the list will go on.
To be honest, I was once an Army actually. I was totally into BTS but not that fanatic type of Army that will give a 100% concentration on them. I adored them, love their music, love the way they bring themselves and so on but at least, I do have limits. They are humans too, like us and that's why, if they secretly attached, I'm fine with it too. Not forgotten, the recent article regarding about Jin will be enlisting. Some of Army were like arguing, complaining why does BTS have to serve the country when they had achieved a lot for the country? I mean, it's fine if they, themselves, wanted to serve their own country right? So, why must some Army be uptight about it?
I left the fandom was not because of those things but I've finally "graduated" about the fandom itself. I've finally learned to Love Myself and that's why I left the fandom. Even Namjoon said, "for those who had found about loving yourself, you are welcome back anytime", something in those lines. Even though I'm a big fan of Seventeen right now, BTS is still my number 1.
Oh ya~ on the side note, the most funniest thing that happened when I discovered about BTS (No More Dream Era) was, I told my sister that they can go far with their music and look! They really went far!
So, let me ask you this question, when did you become a stan of BTS?

Probably the worst types of people are the ones that shut you down to make themselves look cooler than you, for example if you get excited and squeal and they’re like “woah what was that..” or if you talk loudly because you’re passionate about something and they say “relax dude wow” and then give a look… Like fuck off stop trying to act so cool and collected. You don’t seem more mature you just seem fucking boring and monotonously placid.
