i'm screaming in my head all the time. i'm frustrated. i'm sad. i'm a complexity of emotions that you wouldn't understand. i know the universe doesn't put things in our path that we can't handle, but why do i feel like i'm one wrong decision away from losing my mind?

i wish things would stop. stay at a standstill. pause.

i hate that all of this was triggered by you. i know you came into my life, briefly, to teach me important life lessons, but god it's so hard to fill the hole you left.

i'm so lost today.

i wish i could talk to you. it'll only make things worse. it'll cause me to lose sight of the wisdom and knowledge i've gained since you disappeared from my life. all the boundaries i'm trying to build and mend, they'll go out the door if you had the heart to respond.
