whenever my siblings and i are fortunate enough to visit a museum, we pick our favorite statues and do our best to replicate the poses because life's too short to not be silly

does anyone else ever think about how the beloved child of the house came to accept the name piranesi (which was literally used as a mockery of matthew rose sorensen's imprisonment) and was even called that by the one who doesn't like clothes. its almost like our identites are sometimes shaped by people who we once loved but who have done us wrong & we have to come to accept that parts of us will forever go on being what they shaped us into

Some of artist Anna Sim's work really gives me Piranesi vibes - I LOVE IT (Susanna Clarke's book and Anna Sim's paintings of stairs and halls and vestibules!)

Don’t mind me…I’m just thinking about how spiders are naturally talented and skilled weavers and they know how to weave their webs and even make functional, stylish homes and nests and whatnot.

So maybe that’s why Spider-Man knows how to sew his suits. He inherited that trait from the spider and just instinctively know how to weave his suits. Maybe. That’s my explanation for it.
