hi, I'm Lilac/Jules and I'm homeless with my younger brother who's a minor and our disabled mother. we live in a motel and we get paid monthly, so it's the end of the month and we have no money and nothing to eat in our motel room. currently our food to eat consists of 2 ramens and cereal without milk. we don't get paid for 4 or so more days and I really don't think we can last til then with such little food

please, please if anyone can spare anything for food, I'd be forever grateful 🥺🌈 even a singular $5 would help because then me and my brother can get taco bell for the day

idk what to do anymore because I already borrowed money from people this month that I owe with my upcoming paycheck at the end of the month. we're working on getting a place through a grant program, but there's a lot of roadblocks I need to overcome to get that housing. I'll be able to stop asking every month around this time for money soon.... until then, please help??

A crowdfunding appeal has been launched to help a 29-year-old Black trans woman who lost both her legs after allegedly being thrown onto NYC subway tracks by her boyfriend. A statement from the New York City District Attorney confirms that the victim and her boyfriend were at the Fulton St. station in Brooklyn when the man is said to have seen the oncoming downtown train coming and “thrown” his girlfriend towards the tracks. “The victim was rushed to the hospital, where both of her legs had to be amputated. She also suffered from fractures to her ribs and a blood clot in her lungs,” the statement continues. When the police arrived, they found the woman under the train, reports Into. The woman has since taken part in an interview with trans activist Hope Giselle, and explains that she was on her way to a gender-affirming appointment when she alleges that she and her boyfriend got into an argument and he “threw” her onto the tracks.
