i want people to realize that miguel didn't only lose gabriella pre atsv. he lost basically everyone he ever cared about before her and her entire dimension. he lost his neglectful mother, both of his fathers (birth and unrelated), little brother, fiance, and even the woman he loved. this man was already traumatized before he went to the other dimension. remember how he said "where i was happy"? yeah that's because he's hardly ever been happy in his life.

mans just wanted a break and then watched that daughter he always wanted die right in front of him like everyone else. thats gonna leave a guy in shambles
