to say that Mike’s big scene being an “I love you” to El is bad writing or character assassination is incorrect. the entire season was clearly leading to that. you can say the dialogue was cheesy (which is was), but you cannot say that Finn’s performance was bad or that they ruined Mike’s character. he’s always loved El and I’m sorry if you convinced yourself that they were gonna throw away four seasons worth of development on this couple for nothing lol.
