Rose continues walking around. She rubbed her temples in a lowly attempt to soothe her nerves. Too close. She got herself lost in the process. Her 'shadow' wasn't helping either. The arguments wouldn't stop. She knows they'll tire soon. Nothing to unusual now after taking herself off of some of the meds Shadow Moth has her taking.

Shibuya, Evening

Another day, another mugging to stop.

Honestly, he'd lost count of how many of these he'd taken on over his career. They all just started to blend together after a while.

He perched on the rooftop overhead, looking down on the scene with his third eye... or at least he tried to.

"What the hell-?"

He honestly still wasn't sure how exactly his third eye worked, only that it highlighted whatever he needed to see. Yet something in that area was blocking it, like a massive heat source viewed through infrared, making it so he couldn't see anything in the alleyway with it on, nor could he really tell where the source of it was.

Could be inside one of the buildings, outside on the sidewalk, or smack dab in the middle of alley. There was no way to tell.

He'd never encountered anything like it before... and it gave him an odd feeling in his gut.

This had something to do with the Metaverse. He knows it.

But it didn't change that fact that someone was in danger down there. Like it or not, he couldn't just leave that alone.

"Okay, third eye's out then... Good thing I still have the other two-"

It was hard to make out from this distance, but it looked like five thugs surrounding one... civilian. Hard to tell much more from five stories up.

He dove down into the alley, flipping in midair to collide into the guy nearest to the potential victim with both feet, bouncing off him to leap into the air and fire some webbing at the rest of them, before landing stylishly in front of the hopefully-rescued bystander.

"Man, you'd think you numbskulls would learn not pull this stuff in my neighborhood."

Unconscious in one's subconscious

Chains held her ankles and wrists just like many others here before they're born. Even in these Crimson depths held a sense of unnerving tranquility. A shadow mass bound her legs together with some covering her eyes, lining her fingers. Growing aware of her predicament, the consciousness writhed in primal instincts with a devoid mind.

Soon enough, the chain within the shadow mass snapped freeing her from her placement. Her eyes opened to see the new world. Yanking her wrists up gave her complete freedom.

Gently she swims around amongst the unborn till she looked above. Light. Her head came out from the red fluid where she could see a new world from outside.

A white lion placed a paw into the fluid. Her attention turned to the lion.

"Come here newborn," a gentle roar came from her mouth," let's get you cleaned."

She swam over to meet the pure royal.

"You're a shadow king? Queen? I'll say shadow royal for now," they walked closer, "hold still."

A sandpaper tongue gently licked off the thin membrane covering her facial features. She squirmed away from the new sensation.

"I see," the white shadow purred, "I'll go see if mother will help. Stay here, okay?"

She watched the white shadow run off to the distance. Her eyes landed on the large tower.

"Home?" The royal's eyes roamed around to other things.

Different types of shadows roamed around; there's one thing separating them. Markings branded on their bodies, each tailored -while tethering- them in the class system. Some where looking at her, festering in curiosity, interest, and confusion.

Sounds of approaching steps got the royal's attention. An eight legged black horse pulled a flatbed cart. The white lion let out a short roar, halting the off-putting creature.

"Now be careful with getting up here," the white lion hopped down and lowered himself to the ground to make accessing the cart easier, "take your time long one."

After some struggle, the shadow royal got into the cart with the lion following after.

"Get us to mother's fragment, Aerator."

"As you wish, Prince."

The cart started retracing its trail.

Royal looked at the lion, specifically his mane. Bright light silks inside amongst other likewise hairs. Royal looked around as the cart passes through the array of flowers and gargantuan moths flutter around. There's other things that caught the shodowling's attention just didn't know what they're called. Royal kept quiet as they're being taken into the large pillar which centers the world in which they thrive.

Blooming Evil Flowers

Everything is so different now. Red painted the sky. Fog covered my vision to where I couldn't see but five feet in front of me. Ugh, what happened to this place?

Where is she? Why do I always find myself here?

In my dreams.

In my nightmares.

Now, it's in my daydreams. Crying out in angered distress.

Chi chi...she doesn't know much about this concerning repeating of my mind going to that place on its own.

What am I to do, when this all is so same and yet so different? My mind is so split to a point where my shadows are to split at the midsection on this. Could it be all just paranoia? A fear of what can unfold? Or a telling of a possible outcome?

Even with all these questions, I still obsess over one.

Things don't change

[Just a little writing about Plagued servant AU.]

Everytime there's a butterfly, she follows it; she's been doing this since she was little. She's always lead to a place where she doesn't remember yet swore she's been there.

She brushes her confusion off as anything more than a fleeting moment she illusions. Alas the high schooler keeps following these butterflies no matter clear skies, wind or snow, she keeps following them; never questions why there's a butterfly in the rain or around in winter.

She wanted to where they lead her. She always did this. Why'd it change now?

All from a tarot she held in her hand from a tarot reading. It just clicked into place where she couldn't recall. No butterflies came after the card. Aeon. The card along with it's meaning hit somewhere deep within, leaving a crack in her mind.

She couldn't say why; her eyes are open. She chooses to shut them.

Rose had a dream one night. She was a young child buried by twilight feathers held up by a large hand. The large beast's heart beat in roaring rumbles of soft thunder.

She couldn't move. She was content with being in the beast's motherly hold. Numb, under stimulated, at peace. Rose felt the beast ruffle its wings, exposing her to a grey world dense in fog as far as she could see.

"What's wrong?" A soft voice spoke to her.

"I can't see."

"The fog protects us dear. We can't see but they end up getting swallowed by the fog."

"Why," she looked up to find a lavender eye looking at her with adoration.

"Cause some people are dangerous. They'd want to cause harm. So anytime the fog comes you're save."

"What about my friends?"

"They'll be safe to but, not all will be. Some you can't save."

Darkness blipped causing her to wake from the dream. Dream? How could this be a dream? She's covered in sweat.

Rose looked at the sleeping Chi chi, kicking her left hind leg in the air time to time.

"I'll go wash up. It should help ease my mind."

Getting out of bed, starting a warm shower, and stripping away her loose nightgown. Steam fogged the mirror covering her reflection, revealing her markings she bares.

Rose proceeded on with her thoughts.

Why was this a recurring dream? Why did she feel so soothed when the dream was a nightmare for anyone else?

She felt miffed. Been miffed for months on this strange mental loop.

Hello everyone, I'm one of Rose's friends using her phone to send you this. Rose is in a terrible shape and is in the hospital. One of us found her a few days ago passed out and wouldn't wake up. We decided to wait a few days before we got in contact with you so she can rest without getting stressed out. We can't say if she'll be getting better but if you have a time or place to meet up then we'll take you see her. Hope this explains everything.

It wasn't much of a relief though it was good Rose is safe. Just what happened? She was a little under the weather for a while but to end up in a hospital is worrying.
