"Dark and Chosen hate each other"

"Dark and Chosen love each other"

WRONG

Their relationship is WAY more complex than hate or love, and NOT in a good way

I'll explain what I understand about them because OH MY GOD, THESE TWO GO THROUGH SO MUCH MISCHARACTERIZATION

Firstly, at the beginning, they didn't hate each other. And you may say, "But Dark was created to kill him." And yeah, but that doesn't mean he necessarily hated Chosen. That was just the order he was given.

On Chosen's side, he was a slave for God knows how long until he met Dark. He probably didn't immediately hate him and instead was most likely confused, and he saw Dark as an opportunity to get the hell out of the desktop OR to go against Noogai3

They didn't care about each other but about what they could GET out of each other

Now, when they went against Noogai, they became friends, meaning they cared about each other, and that's fine

BUT THEY WENT AND MADE A FUCKING GENOCIDE EVERYWHERE THEY STEPPED

Dark was obviously enjoying it, and he thought Chosen was too (he enjoyed it at the beginning, so Dark must've stuck with that mindset). Chosen, on the other hand, was not enjoying jack shit and was only doing it because "That's what friends do." I'm sure many people can relate

During the showdown, Chosen decides to FINALLY back down and stop Dark from murdering literally everyone

But DARK DIDN'T LET GO OF THE DAMN BUTTON

(You could say it was because he was "confused" that Chosen stopped him, that he was a kid with no knowledge of the terrifying mess he was creating, but he didn't even stop to think about what Chosen wanted and instead just went for it)

That didn't necessarily mean they started hating each other. That's not how feelings work

They were literally each other's first, best, and ONLY friend for years. You can't get over it after just one night or fight

And that's the same reason of why when Dark died, Chosen most likely didn't get over it immediately

He didn't even have a source of help or comfort that could help him forget about his best friend. (The closest thing he had was Second, and they only met ONCE because Chosen needed help with the Mercenaries)

That doesn't mean Chosen "still loves him" or "immediately hates him," but he has mixed feelings about Dark and vice-versa

No, this isn't a healthy relationship. If any, it's probably one of the most toxic relationships of all AvA

(without counting victim/Chosen or Noogai3/ any of his first three stickfigures)

That's at least what I understand about their relationship. It's not the truth TRUTH but it's what I understood whatsoever
