A Cat that crossed the Street
As I walked down Los Angeles, I stepped into its busy night. Apparently things were lively tonight despite it being 9pm, though it was a Friday Night. There was something off though and I'm not sure how to describe it. Everything was normal at first, I walked down the rainy street and passed by a few stray cats, not something abnormal to see in Los Angeles... But then I saw a few dogs running out as well, then more cats. Something was up, and it involved the domestic animals. Curiosity got the best of me and I decided to follow them. I practically ran in circles until I found a bar where many animals took shelter from the rain. For a moment I passed this off, but I decided that I could use a drink. When I walked into the bar, I was greeted to some sweet sounding music and I felt like I could take a load off. I sat down, and the bartender came up to me. He was wearing a vest with red and white lines over it, horizontal. He had a handlebar mustache and slicked back brown hair, with the voice and tone of an announcer but the volume of someone indoors he asked me "What can I get you? You drenched fellow?". I only now noticed I still had my raincoat and boots on, but I just went along with what I wore and answered. "Just a small glass of beer, on a case right now, don't wanna get drunk in the street." The man got me my drink, sliding the glass towards me, allowing me to catch it and take a quick swig from it before asking them, "Say, there's a lot of animals out and about. You know anything about that?". The bartender thought for a moment, he leaned into me and spoke quietly "Well, I heard from another guy a weirdo lured some animals out for some reason. I don't know why but maybe you should ask around..." So I did just that. All around the bar I talked to a few folks. They said similar things to me.
- "I'm not too sure where these animals are coming from, but I thought I could see catnip and anise around."
 - "I thought I saw someone luring a few cats here, but they're probably gone now."
 - "I thought I could smell some catnip around here."
I began to wonder, could the cat be around here? I went outside to see...

A Cat that crossed the Road
I left the bar after paying my tab. I looked all around for cats but I kept seeing all types. White Cats with Blue Eyes, Black and White Cats, Cats with Black Fur and Green Eyes and many more. The dogs in this case were irrelevant, but nevertheless I still pet the animals I came across. As I looked around I came up to looking at about 20 dogs and 40 cats, yet there wasn't a black cat with green eyes despite this. I was amazed, but took my sights elsewhere. I took note of this however, either this was another case in the waiting or this could lead me to the cat. I then saw a figure run by, a shadowy figure near the bar. I gave chase quickly, running after it as it sprinted down an alleyway. I caught the figure and stopped him, then began to question him. "You do something with a Black Cat?!" the man panicked "N-NO! I just dropped a bit of Catnip and now all of these cats are laying at the bar! I ain't do nothin!" The man was irrelevant to my case, so I pat him on the back and let him go. I was growing tired, I needed to speed this case up and find this cat... But then I had an idea, I took the treats I had and shook them as I walked out of the alleyway and away from the bar.  With my Raincoat now giving off the stench of catnip, I watched as a black cat with green eyes moved towards me from another road. I found Satur, all was good. I thought about those dogs and cats at the bar but that's not any of my business yet. And so I walked back with the cat, ready to call my client and to tell her the news. That I found her cat, that crossed the road.

A Cat that left the House.
It was a Friday night, 9pm, with rain falling outside making the city wet. Lamps outside reflected off of the wet road and I was sitting in my office, napping and waiting for my shift to end. My feet were planted on my desk, I had just a lamp on and the room smelled of smoke, probably from my heavy smoking. A name tent was on my desk, reading the words "Sleuthous Sherlockus". I heard the sound of a bell ringing as a woman walked into my room. A Lady wearing a fur coat with a black purse came in with a job. She sounded frantic, she was sweating and jittery yet still smelled of perfume, she seemed rich as well. She said "Please! Please Mr. Sleuth, my cat ran out of my door and into the cold rain! Can you help me find her?!". When I was asked this, I looked up at her in my black suit, with my black fedora, in my dimly lit black room with my brown desk, my black shoes on it. I said, "Maybe I can, for a fair price..." but she scoffed at me, "A Fair Price for finding a cat? Fine, I need my Satur so how's 10 dollars?" Ten dollars for a cat? What a steal. I took that offer, shaking her hand and stepped out into the rainy night with a yellow raincoat and boots to not mess up my suit. I even brought an umbrella with me and a bag of cat treats to lure it to me.
The Cat I was after was described to me by her. Her cat was black, it's eyes green, I could miss it at night but it's eyes would give it away. I began to walk down the streets of Los Angeles, rain pouring down. I thought to myself, it's gonna be a short night, one cat and it's over... But Incase the worst happens, I'll write a little journal for this.
