Activity update!

Hi friends! After lots of deliberation, I have made the decision to archive this blog. I am currently creating a new blog under the same name, hence the change of URL over here, but it’s got a lot of work left to do. I will post an update again when everything is up-and-running.

The new account will operate similarly - Hisui as main blog, Jasper (@infusedwithamber) with a sideblog to her blog. However, Hisui’s James-verse children (xwithering; xeverblooming), Amber and the other sideblogs on this account will be moving to a multi that will come later on. 

Rufus’ account will remain as is for now. I’m not sure if I want him, Rani and Bal on the multi at this stage. I am also debating Thea and Scarlet. 

I have a lot of headcanons to re-write (again, this will take time, and I don’t want to rush this) or adjust, so this is likely going to be a lengthy process. If you’d like to continue agreed relationships, verses, threads etc. then please drop me a line and I am more than happy to discuss!

These adjustments will not change the fact that RPing on Discord is much more convenient for me, and something that I am doing much more often!!! Please drop me a line there (mutuals can IM me if you would like to add me) if you would like to set something up in that regard.

I hope this explains everything for now, and that these changes will enable me to use Tumblr with greater ease in the future <3

I hope you are all well. I just wanted to pop in to say that, with a few things in my life settling down, I may be returning to Tumblr in the near future. I've already purged a lot of the blogs I was following re: aesthetic blogs etc., but I am considering moving blogs altogether, possibly to a multimuse. Either way, it won't be an immediate return as the summer is looking to be a busy time for me, but I am hoping it won't be too long until I can get back into writing again!

Hi all. I feel like I’ve been making a lot of these posts lately. Being on Tumblr is very hard for me right now, in terms of time and effort. I have a lot on my plate with operation consultations, job-related stress and helping my friends (who are also taking a beating from life rn) get through their ordeals too.

So what does this mean for my activity levels here?

They’re going to be very low. Not that it’s going to make too much of a difference given my infrequent visits to this blog in the first instance. Tumblr mobile has been so limiting since the big “no HTML editing” update and has gotten progressively harder to use following the updates that proceeded it. Desktop is still relatively fine, but I hardly have the energy to get to my laptop after a long day of work, these days, especially since I sit in front of a screen at work. God knows how college-me used to hack full-time education, a part-time job, four hours sleep AND maintaining Tumblr activity. Maybe I just burned myself out.

Have I stopped RPing?

No, actually. I have still been writing quite a bit, just on a lesser arse-ache of a platform. Discord servers have been working very well for 1-on-1 interactions AND group plots for some time now. No icons required. Little formatting required. A (generally) functional app that is arguably a lot less of a chore to use, and I have begun to enjoy writing again.

So, if any of my mutuals have anp interest in writing with me, drop your discord in the comments or my private messages/askbox. And please don’t be shy!!! If you already have me on there and you want to write with me, hit me up on there and we can do so. I am more than happy to continue current Tumblr threads there, too.

If people want group writing servers too? I’m down. They’re fun as hell!
