emergency after emergency ... woe after woe ... 😓 it doesn't ever seem to end for me. while I hoped to be moved & back by now, there's just no way for that to happen atm ...

unfortunately ... this wait might turn into a whole hiatus 😔

I don't want to speak too soon, but ... something pretty big just happened in my life, & I'm not exactly sure what it's going to bring ... lots of stress, undoubtedly ... chaos is also almost promised ...

I'm safe & my family is safe, don't worry ! if you've been here for a while, you'll know that my house has been in disarray for months now. what's going on now is just pt. 4726 of that 😭 we--apparently--can't catch a break no matter how hard we try ...

I will admit that there are other things that are contributing to my lack of want to be here, but again ... I'm not trying to make Ari's space a negative one, even though I don't intend to be active for ... God knows how long, really 😔

since this hiatus is a result of a combination of things, I can't exactly say when I'll be back ... it may be just a quick storm to weather, or it may be a few weeks ? I just can't say 😭 but ... thank you to everyone who has been so supportive & understanding during this time. I hope to see you on the other side of this dip--at the top of the hill, I suppose ...--whenever that may be ... 🌷

I'm not sure exactly when I will make this move--perhaps when I can finally muster some inspiration to write something, which is certainly not now--but all relationships & plots will move with it, along with a handful of asks & threads. everything else will be abandoned here.

to everyone who has been waiting months & months for a response from me: I'm sorry 😔 I know that I should have been better about replying--more on top of things--but instead I let things get on top of me. I can sit here & promise you that I'm interested in interaction still, but it helps to also feel it, yes ? 🥺 I've not done a good job ... & I hope, with this move, to be much better about this.

🥀🍯 EXPLANATION FOR THE RECENT BOUT OF INACTIVITY HERE ! hello, everyone 🌷 I hope you’re have a wonderful day ! yes, I know I don’t really have to explain any silence here, but I do feel comfortable providing some reason from time to time, since the lack of activity here isn’t actually because of a lack of muse 🤔 I’ve had PLENTY of muse for Ari & am eager to get back to writing here ! 🌼however … as you may have heard when I mentioned it a few weeks back, I recently started a new job. it’s real lovely & I thoroughly enjoy every minute spent there—I’m real lucky to have found such a place in RETAIL !—however … the hours are not like the ones at my old job, which were far more … suitable ? 👀

I’ve shared here many a time before that the best time for me to write is in the early, early morning, but this job has me walking out of there at, like, 10pm some nights, which really isn’t conducive to waking up early 😭 before I could adjust my availability, however, I had to kind of … settle into the job. I think that might have finally happened ! 🙏🌿

so yes … that’s my rather anti - climatic reasoning behind the lack of writing lately. I’ll be submitting my updated availability today, so hopefully within the next couple of weeks, things will start to change & I can get my writing rhythm back !  😊

as always, thank you all so very, very much for your endless support & interest here 🍄 it means the world to me that people still want to interact with Ari despite my slowness ! I hope to be here much more soon 💐
