Seriously, why George is always attacked? Every time he is the one they choose. The bullying campaign/ death threats during Eurocup, the cartoon, that republican page is awfull to him all the time but it's not just them, he is the main target of the SS too.
I saw a Diana stan page with 500k followers saying they attack George to reach William and Catherine, because they like Charlotte, so they choose George.
Besides that, there's the people saying George is too shy to be king, that Charlotte should be the heir.
How are they so mean? He's a kid, they attack a kid, he (and all the kids) should be off limits, but no, they use him to their stupid narratives.
I think there are several reasons, and people may hold to one or several.
1) The world is obsessed with misandry.
2) Some people are prejudiced against the oldest children in families. I know this sounds insane but there’s some truth to it. Stereotypically, we are boring and responsible. We get called things like goody two shoes, party pooper, bossy, etc. Yesterday my second child said to my first “You think you’re so perfect!”
3) People have decided introverts are flawed. This idea is moronic.
3) William haters will not spare his heir. Especially as it’s so clear the boy adores his father.
4) A very small percentage of people think he shouldn’t be king because of his mother. It’s sick and disgusting but I’ve seen anons here upset George doesn’t have blue eyes. That goes beyond classism...
To sum it up, people are terrible.
And social media is equally terrible for tolerating people who attack and bully a child.

I see Sussex stans loving that Emily Andrews apparently confirmed the "invisible contract" with the press. Thoughts?
https://twitter.com/byEmilyAndrews/status/1492079925641322542?s=20
I frankly do not care because the “invisible contract” works only if it’s to highlight an already existing positive image. The Queen Camilla positive PR has worked because there’s already either praise or apathy, but not dislike—if it weren’t the case, then the DM would be bashing her, not because they care about Clarence House but because they care about selling papers, and reaffirming the public’s opinion is what consistently sells the most papers.
On the flip side, when there’s negative sentiment they respond negatively to royals because again that’s what sells more—I cannot emphasise enough that the DM (nor most other newspapers, especially tabloid ones) don’t hold a dear relationship with any public figure, they just care about what brings $$$.
Case in point, when in 2014-2016 the press was against the Cambridges it wasn’t because they disliked them, but because there was a lot of noise in the public opinion around how little they worked coupled with two very expensive renovations (one of which was met with public costs) and a reluctance to show their kids, so the media exploited that discontent. All these years later, it’s not that the media now loves WK, but that most of what they were criticised for has disappeared—they haven’t got any new houses, they’re working more, they’re now based in London etc—, and so the tune changes because now praising the couple is what sells.
And that applies to the Sussexes too. People forget the huge PR campaign that happened throughout 2017-early 20218 about how Meghan was the best royal to-be and how she was smarter and better than everyone else, but the first negative articles only started coming out after there was discontent online when it was obvious she and Harry announced their pregnancy on Eugenie’s wedding day, after which came the articles about Meghan’s wedding tiara, her disliking the smell of St George’s, a rift with William and Catherine, and Duchess Difficult—all negative press that would’ve calmed down if they’d been discreet and focused on their work, but instead we got FrogCott’s £2.4M renovations, a $500K baby shower, not wanting to show Archie after his birth then hiding his christening details, the Wimbledon fiasco, the private jet trips over the summer and Harry trying to justify them, suing the Daily Mail and Harry implying the media was trying to kill Meghan, the 6-week break to USA/CAN and then boom leaving the family.
The truth of the matter is that you can blame any “invisible contract” or PR campaign all you want, but the reason why the Royal Family (in particular WK) are doing better than the Sussexes is because they’re purposely staying away from drama, whereas Harry and Meghan are literally sitting down with reporters as often as they can to shade on his family (or downright call them racists) or to complain one way or the other about the injustices they feel they’ve been through, in the middle of a pandemic no less.

Looking forward to learning from experts, parents & practitioners about Denmark’s approach to early childhood later this month. Denmark is a beacon of best practice in its approach to the early years, with a culture which prioritises the best start in life.

And H&M are absolute pros at trying to gaslight.
"Every employer should allow their employees 45-minutes each morning for me-time.: I am sorry - but I've never had an employer tell me I couldn't get up 45 minutes before my kids for some me time. <sarcasm> But seriously, in my 36 year professional career, I cannot ever imagine thinking 10% of my workday should be designated as "me time" when I have 16 other hours in the day for that. 1/2
2/2. I remember early in the 36 year career, I attended a work-life balance type seminar, and the instructor asked us if we had any routines to basically create that barrier. I told him I did 2 things - 1) got in the car on my way home sang along to my favorite CW songs (e.g. Willie Nelson) as it was completely opposite of the bank's office. And 2) watched All My Children on TV, as Erica Kane allowed me to laugh at my bosses shenanigans. That was my "me time" and I've coped pretty well since.
======
We all have our own ways of coping with stress don't we? Mine is this blog.
I read an interesting article the other day that I can't find right now. It postulated that employers who are working their employees to the bone and then telling them to make time for mental health, are basically gaslighting them.

"Ahahahahahaha it's so easy that it's a hobby!"
- A bunch of rich people
"No she said “Friends told us that one child is a hobby and two is parenting and it’s so TRUE”" Oh Meghan, those aren't your friends....
She found it funny...and agreed.
She just doesn't get it..

We are being Harkle inundated. Harry, a stranger to the truth, is doing a conference with Wired on internet misinformation. He and Meghan are experts on misinformation so this is perfect for him. But I fear he's instead going to be complaining about people saying untrue (critical) things about him. Lol. The hypocrisy is strong with these two. So is the stupid.
I'm a bit curious to hear his take on things. I love seeing how many knots someone can twist a few facts into.

Idk…I feel like Harry and Meghan still carry themselves like royals and elite celebs, but with nothing to back it up anymore. Like releasing birth photos as a press release, the formality of this photoshoot, the usage of titles in the US where it holds no prestige, starting the 40x40 “campaign”. It’s all outdated and still reminiscent of the life they say they left behind which is why it doesn’t translate.

Serena wrote the time article on the gymnast
Athlete writing for another athlete makes sense. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala who is an astounding woman being written about two people who have had everything handed to them whereas she has worked for everything she has seems wrong.

They have talked at people, which to them is humanitarian work.

All of these people who think Catherine isn’t doing enough, aside from the fact she has three small children, someone her age would probably be looking at working another 25 years and then retiring. This isn’t an option for the future Queen, who god willing could still be working into her 90’s, so if she is enjoying her family time then good for her, because as her husband moves up the line of succession her workload will increase, so why not enjoy her family time giving them a solid grounding is as important for the future of the monarchy as any other roll.

He's just getting back from his summer break. I know I'm always more cheerful after a nice break. 🤷‍♀️
I'm suspicious bout Will's sudden friendliness and urge to ride the London eye. Will's been very cheery too at his last two engagements.
Perhaps that is because its his job to be cheerful at engagements. People who work with Prince Charles say that as he gets out of the car, its like flipping a switch. Whatever was bothering him disappears. The Queen Mother was the same. Maybe William has learned that too.
