“Showed him a bit of the merchandise, like so,” she repeated, adjusting her coverup to where her bikini top was visible again.
“Wait, sorry…you did what?”

“Neither could I, even after leaving Killian with Juliet.”

“Yup, and I can repeat it if your ears are still in disbelief.”
@ Poppy’s Brew
“Did you mean to say that out loud?”

Elle paused at suddenness of Killian’s words, stunned for maybe a second or so before she broke into a small smile. “Only just figuring that out now?” She teased, although she accompanied the words with a gentle nudge of her shoulder against his. Her expression sobered a bit, because of course the revelation was made bitter in its sweetness. Rory would be okay, barring any new injury occurring. The fae man and Emma had seemed insistent on that much. “You should tell her when she gets home.”
She turned her head now to look at Killian, turning a bit more serious again in her tone. “I don’t think ever really gave much credit to the idea of soulmates when I was growing up. That felt like something out of fairy tales… but then Jonathan and I moved here, and I got to see what love is actually supposed to be.” She smiled again at that, her eyes just a touch watery. “You and Rory are perfect for each other, you know?”
Elle hadn’t left Killian’s side, as she’d promised back at the Bane Mansion. Not until they got back to the Pack House, and even then it was only so they could both clean up from the dust and blood. But now they were just sitting on Killian’s bed to where their backs were leaned up against the wall. A silence had fallen between the two for quite some time, but she took the chance to speak up now. “I’m not saying that you have to talk, but if you want to, I’m here.”

"If you shift when you sneeze, you know Ben's just gonna try to eat you, right?"
Bryce sat huddled in a corner of one of the plush purple couches. He wore a ‘Got Cheese?’ hoodie that was about three sizes two big. He rubbed his nose trying to tight an incoming sneeze.

After consuming a mountain of shots, Derek set about approaching random people and taking their faces in his hands and giving them a smooch.

"It's been awhile since I kissed one of them, but I would have to agree. Even their nerdy guys have abs, so it's a no-brainer."
"Well...obviously its nothing to write home about if you did. Now nephilim....they've got it going on."

Elle paused, looking at the vampire. "And the catch is?"
"Sounds to me like you could use a refresher. Luckily for you my lips are available."

Elle rolled her eyes a bit. "I said I don't remember if I have or not. But he damn well wouldn't have gotten away with biting me."
Tristan's eyes grew wide. "You made out with a vampire before? Didn't he bite you?"

Elle looked up at the sound of Bryce's voice and had to bite back a bit of a laugh at his order. But, then again, it was probably better to not choose a vampire party as the place to experiment with alcohol.
She moved down the bar, raising her glass to the younger shifter as he received his juice. "No sense in drinking alone, even if it's not booze."
Sitting in the corner of the bar.
“Just juice please.” He mumbled to the bartender.

"Now that... is a bit surprising to hear from you."
"Well I can't speak for the whole species but the one's I've kissed have been pretty good at it,"

"Is that supposed to be you judging me for the fact that I have been?"
She downed her drink in an almost pointed fashion then. "Leads to a lot less complication if you can just blame it on booze."
"I don't think I've ever been so wasted I didn't remember snogging someone,"

"I mean... I don't think I've ever made out with a vampire. Or if I did I must have been too wasted to remember."

"Of course you are," Elle replied, her tone far more soft than it ever would be normally. Because she'd felt Tristan's fear before Bryce had even come home... she knew something was wrong. And that rattled her to her core. So here she was, crouched in front of the younger shifter, gently pressing a bit of gauze ever so gently to Bryce's head wound. "I don't even think you'll need stitches... perks of healing quickly."
“I’m okay…” He whispered softly.

Elle jumped a bit at the voice. "Jesus!" She looked back at the guy with a slight scowl. "Not if you give me a heart attack first," she pointed out before sighing and reigning in her expression. "I'm just here to pick up something my brother had ordered."

"Can I help you?" he asked, finding someone waiting outside the smithy when he arrived not long after sun up.

"I think I could handle a stalker, if they even stuck around long enough to become one," Elle retorted, crossing her arms as she sat in the chair he'd indicated. "Do I need to be in a crisis to talk to you?"
“Nope. I am effectively off duty. If you need to be saved from a ravenous stalker you are going to have to go somewhere else.” He took his coffee from the barista with a smile of thanks. “Otherwise. Go ahead. Pull up a chair. I don’t mind. “
