since its his birthday, i’d just like to say how much i love ron weasley. i could write hundreds upon hundreds of words on why he is an incredible friend, an exemplary human being, and the kind of underdog hero that every poor, bullied, overshadowed child deserves.

ron is extraordinary in that he exemplifies such deeply human qualities, both good and bad, and proves again and again that getting good grades, having new clothes, or being the most popular kid at school don’t determine your worth.

i think hermione says it best; there are more important things than books and cleverness. friendship. bravery. kindness. humility. compassion. ron is the beating heart of every circle he is a part of and reminds us all that no matter how the world sees you, or how you see yourself, you are capable of great things. you matter.

happy birthday, ron weasley. thank you for reminding me time and time again not to give up or be discouraged. there are brighter days ahead, always.

Eddie Redmayne was back in the Mean Tweets/Oscar edition. Twice. (The one that seems meanest is actually a “love” letter from Alfafa to Darla in the 1994 Little Rascals movie.)

Though I’m in my twenties, I apparently have the face of a twelve-year-old and quite literally every other time I go to the airport I get asked “Are you 12 or under? If so, you don’t have to do the body scan.” So this is my face when they check my ID and see my real age...

I really hope she will stay on for FBAWTFT 2 and we’ll get some incredible designs for some upcoming major characters (Dumbledore?!?). Also, Paris. What a treat it would be for her to do beautiful late 20′s styles in the place regarded as the paragon of fashion!

A big accomplishment for her and also for the whole Wizarding World as it’s the first Oscar in any of the films!

Ok this HAS to be FBAWTFT 2, so I guess that at least an early draft is finished!!!! I definitely think some will probably be changed or added or rewritten before summer, but this is exciting--FANTASTIC BEASTS 2 IS REAL!! IT’S HAPPENING!!

PARTY ALL DAY ERRY DAY

I love that the Harry Potter family don’t have a specific day they celebrate. There’s the battle of Hogwarts, September 1st, Halloween, Harry and Jo’s birthday and all of the other characters birthdays. It’s basically every canon date we know and I think it’s wonderful.

SO HAPPY!!!

Colleen is wondrous. I truly believe she created an iconic look with Newt’s coat, and entire outfit, really, and the attention to detail she put into every single character is astounding. Every outfit seemed to reflect the character’s personality perfectly. 

In one of the interviews during the promotional tour I remember Ezra saying how Colleen sewed a special design in his coat to remind him not to lose himself in the role of Credence and that really stuck with me! She cares so much for the people she’s dressing. Wow! 

Congrats again to Colleen and the entire FBAWTFT team who helped her out!!!

Hi everyone! I’m doing well. I just received treatment for my anaemia and I’m so happy to finally have it done! Thank you so much for sticking by this little blog while I’m trying to get my health back in order. I feel really hopeful about the future and I think I’m going to be feeling a lot better soon!! It takes a couple of weeks after treatment for the red blood cells in your body to build up again, but honestly no matter how I am feeling I get really excited thinking about the FBAWTFT audio book, haha! 

How are you doing?? I hope things are going well for you, too. I miss posting stories and seeing everyone’s happy reactions. I just miss you in general!
