I’m covering a different store today and it’s got some pros and cons.

Pros:

Carpeted

Has a window wall that looks out onto several trees which is a lovely vibe

Carries some beds my store doesn’t

Cons:

There’s a scent machine I can’t find fugging up the air with a perfume I’m allergic to

A nearby business appears to be breeding or perhaps battling pterodactyls and there’s a faint near constant sound of eldritch screaming coming through under the music.

Another Belos thought bc he’s fun to think about but I like that people keep calling him Belos as a way to hold accountability in a way bc like. He switches names (fully as the same guy this is just one dude who has one personality which is made extremely clear in Hollow Mind👍) to try and manipulate people, especially Luz and Hunter. He tells Collector and Luz to call him Philip because it’s a way of making them special like YOU get to use this name bc we’re buddies actually/on the same page. Belos has Hunter use Emperor/Uncle to establish authority and also uses “The Curse” to justify his abuse of Hunter, and later does the same thing to Luz to (try to) avoid getting killed.

He wants people to call him a certain name depending on their relationship to him / to express power which is why it’s totally cool for Luz, Hunter, etc to just call him Belos after a while bc it removes his power titles and is more distant than his personal name, which he gen only pulls out to hurt Luz/ make a connection with her.
