A+ was commissioned by the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto, funded by the Canada Council For Arts, and completed in January 2012.

The film documents an exceptional diary kept by Moen Mohamed, a dedicated cinema lover who lives in Toronto. Synopsis: Cinema finds its accounts in an uncommon ledger, whose lines and tabulations conceal the greatest love of all.

It is my first non-narrative film. Shot on 16mm on an Oxberry in one of LIFT's studios.

The film premiered at Jackman Hall in the Art Gallery of Ontario on January 21, 2012 - the final night of three screenings to celebrate LIFT's 30th anniversary. I was one among 30 filmmakers invited to participate by co-curators Ben Donoghue and Kathryn MacKay.
