I'm not someone who is actively on their phone in their downtime at home (shocking, I know,) so I didn't realise my boss texted me asking if I could work on weekdays next week until 9pm, at which point I was like. Hm. Not going to respond to that one today, that's way past acceptable times.

And then, of course, I forgot to respond today as I was busy, but I came to find out that I'm scheduled anyway. So now, I get to reschedule a doctors appointment because I am apparently working.

I have been working only Saturdays for months. I am a tad upset, given that I gave no indication I could. Yes, it's on me for not responding to the text, but still...

just a suggestion but if you're writing about "the ancient world" please don't include societies that existed from like 1300 to 1521
