I just finished volume one of Deadly Class and I really am enjoying it so far. The show is actually pretty close close to it, which frustrates me that an adaptation that’s pretty accurate to its source material got canceled.

I really like that it actually depicted Marcus being homeless and what he was going through on the streets before him getting to the Kings Dominion.

Now this part down here is probably my favorite. Him hallucinating from Acid is actually pretty hilarious.

Also, I’d freak out too if I hallucinated Ronald Regan. I hate that guy.

I haven’t finished the tv series yet but I kinda wanted to read the comic before I watched the rest of the show so I can compare. From what I’ve seen the series looks like it’s trying to be as close to its source material as possible with a few diversions.

You should wear this instead.” “Hal, I’m not—” “Hold it for me then- as thanks for throwing the trash away and feeding you.” “I didn’t ask to be fed,” Bruce says as he takes the flight jacket anyway, putting it on with a slight smile and an eagerness Hal didn’t expect. “Yeah, well…” Hal just shrugs. They walk, the two following behind everyone in silence, content to listen to the chatter before Hal speaks again. “You know,” Hal looks at Bruce in the jacket, looking at the patch with his last name, heart racing, “my last name does look good on you.” “Is that so?” “It is.”  “Hm.” Bruce smiles a little wider, tone still joking. “I’ll take it into consideration before our wedding then.” Being away from Gotham's stress must be good for the man.

I wanna know where people have lately gotten the audacity to leave comments on fanfics talking about how much the fanfic sucked and negatively critiquing an author's fic like it's a published book review.

It pisses me off cause I've seen authors abandoned or delete their fics because of this.

I know Batlantern isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but it’s so funny to me that Hal is the one (1) person with an even tenuous claim on being able to enter Gotham because Gotham exists in his space sector and even Bruce can’t fully ban him from the city without compromising a lot of League/galactic security.

And that’s such good fuel for an enemies to lovers fic, right? Space cop who absolutely does not want to go into Gotham but sees it as his duty, and Gothamite protector who refuses to let anyone else into his cesspool of a city except for one space cop with a glowstick who’s 98% asshole but 2% respectful enough to only intrude when there’s aliens involved…
