Your worth is not determined by how much others value you. Your worth is independent of anyone’s love.
Your worth is determined by whether you’ve seen Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood or not and if you haven’t you got 7 days to fix that or i’m coming for you

Reasons Why FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is One of the Best Animes of All Time
You have a heartbreaking story about two brother who love and fight together because they’re pretty much all they have.
The animation and art is slap-you-in-the-face gorgeous. Especially on how they age the character naturally.
The humor in the appropriate moments.
All of the women characters are well-written and are complete badasses. The men wouldn’t function without the women characters and vice versa. A great representation of equality.
The couples have an actual basis of development and I love the fact that there isn’t really a question on who will end up with who.
ALL OF THE OPENINGS AND ENDINGS ARE LEGIT FIRE.
The fact that the plot didn’t drag on. I know it was only 64 episodes but I like the fact that it stayed at a minimum because it didn’t turn me off by putting in too much information. (See Naruto as reference)
All of the villains were well-made. Even when you’re supposed to hate them, you love them.
Can I just say two words: MUSICIAL SCORE.
All of the friends and family that Al and Ed gained over their adventure makes my heart spill over with love.
Overall, if you haven’t watched it, please do.

Ok so maybe you already know but I rewatched FMAB this year, and once more I realized that it is and it will always be one of my favorite shows of all time. And I can’t begin to explain how much Arakawa’s creation means to me. Like I really can’t, but I’ll try
It’s filled by amazing, diverse and complex and lovable characters, and I love each one of them (yes Kimblee, you too); it has an excelent and well-carried plot, it made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me feel intrigued and all sort of things. But in the end, the thing that clicked for me was its core message, one that speaks about connection. The people we meet along the way and the true reason of our existence on this world, the things that really matter
I think that when Ed and Al burned their house, that October the 3rd, they were beginning a journey that, ironically, would lead them back to where they started: home, family, friends. Connection.
Like Josh Ritter says in one of my favorite songs: “Only a full house’s gonna make a home“
I think of that song and that line in particular when I think of FMA
I tried to portrait that connection in this piece, I hope that gets through~
Happy October 3rd, everyone 😊💖
