Just finished the Dallergut Dream Department Store. Throughout I thought the book was fine, I liked it well enough, though the structure was fairly simple.

Then in the last chapter somebody dreams a dream that was sent to them by their grandmother, who died at 82.

My grandmother died at the same age a month ago.

It was a nice section. Made me think about her. How I wish I’d known her better. How she’d slip me some extra cash, to buy a new outfit, “and I better see you in a dress next time!”

My opinion on the book has not changed that much, but now I think that it will stick with me.
