#i feel this#i ended dropping out of college for a lot of reasons#but one of them was that i just couldnt focus or remember stuff at all like my brain was mush#i would read the brief then look at my page and not remember what i read so i would read my brief again and just get stuck in a loop#i remember the last time i did that before dropping out and i was scared but also felt nothing#my brain was not doing good#then i became a shut in who basically did the equivilent of staring at a wall for years#before slowly building my brain back to the point where i could think again#and now im in uni and its hard! im slow to understand things and can sit in lectures and not know what they were talking about when i leave#and dont get me started on trying to read things sometimes#but im slowly getting better! i can think now! brain is no longer empty all the time!#i remember things from lectures now not everything but enough to know where to look for more info#your brain is amazing and can heal if you give it the opportunity to do so#also i will say that talking to other people will help a lot#not even about your problems but just having a chat about cake or whatever it gets your brain working more than you think#you only become stupid when you are unwilling to learn so all you can do is try to learn little by little#but ye idk if anyone is in a similar situation just know itll be hard but you can do it!#oh and remember that if you have a bad brain day it doesnt mean youre back at square 1#yesterday i tried to write my essay but i couldnt think very well so i just did my best and then took a break#and today i could think better so i managed to finish the paragraph i was working on#so keep trying!!!

"After receiving a tip about a family of Burrowing Owls on the eastern edge of Cheyenne, a photographer rushed to the location in late June. The owlets seemed nearly ready to leave their burrows. Over the years, the photographer has perfected a method using a GoPro on a small tripod, set to take a photo every 5 seconds. They leave the camera behind, allowing the owls to feel comfortable. The challenge lies in the long wait to see if the effort pays off. This shot was taken on June 28th."
