Warhammer black market goes crazy I guess

The guys at my local GW telling me about the time a lot of orders didn't arrive because someone literally highjacked the truck with the minis. And all I coud say was:

“That could have been me” with dreamy eyes. And they all laughed at me and said they were warning HQ about me.

The problem with CHAZ and Occupy strategies in general is that they pose absolutely zero threat to genocidal states or the capital that funds them. At any point they like, the state can disband them by force - the lines of arms-interlinked intellectuals toppled and ziptied in the course of ten seconds. They can do this not because of a lack of tactical ability or force on the part of the protestors (though they do generally lack tactical ability and force), they could just as easily deploy the national guard, even gun down a few people, and face no real consequences but electoral opponents trying to cynically cash in on sentiments caused by the violence.

The problem here is that there is no connection to the people. The whole world, each bit of it, runs on the labour of the workers. You want to stop a genocide 'your' state is carrying out? Organise work stoppage in the factories producing arms, in the trucks and boats and docks transporting them. If you can't do that, then your first priority should be getting into a position to do that: engage with organised labour like unions and guilds, engage with tenant organisations. Win over these politically advanced (though not yet revolutionary) sections of the people, and put your own labour to use positively, in volunteer work, political education, and building up community resources to enable further labour action.

Personally, as a DM I value the shit out of stuff like this. This happened to me in a setting I'd been making a while back, I had tons of detail on different regions of the world but hadn't thought of a pantheon or any religions or anything, but then one of my players told me he wanted to play as a sort of rogue messiah, the prophet of a religion he wanted no part in on the run from an imperialist theocratic monarchy, and I immediately added in not only that religion but heaps more. Suddenly the port towns all had temples to the goddess night so they could use her stars to find their way home from sea. Suddenly the humans and elves feuding in the zombie infested wastes also had been being propagated by enemy churches. The massive military merc group had temples for war gods because they needed places for their clerics to worship and they were always employing them as medics, long distance communicators via sending and they'd use word of recall to exfiltrate missions gone bad. Don't be afraid to point things out about your dm's world building, because chances are they'll wanna fill those niches you're looking for.

i discovered that the d&d campaign i am in has no plot relevant religions so the DM didn't write any for their world (as far as i know). while i already have a god my character worships entirely built out with a constellation of other ideas for related gods.
