As if Emmrich wouldn't have given Lucanis a hand-written thank you note the very next day. As if Emmrich wouldn't have then given Lucanis some sort of small gift in return. Maybe a Nevarran spice. Or a kitchen utensil

And you know what would happen next? Lucanis and Emmrich, being the people that they are, would end up in some sort of gift-giving death match that slowly escalates and only ends when Rook finds Emmrich researching how to safely transport a wyvern and Lucanis wondering how much a solid gold casket might cost and she puts her foot down once and for all
