(A little partridge with a little top hat lands near Bonnie wherever they happen to be and drops a note before flying off. It reads as follows:)

"Little Chef, I know you're feeling a... complex way right now. I understand if you wouldn't want to chat with a stranger about it, but if you want to talk to about it you're free to come by the favor tree to chat. You don't have to of course, and I'm sure you know well to be wary of strangers either way, but the offer stands nonetheless in case you want to take it up. Please stay safe, regardless of your choice."

(Bonnie leaned against the fence separating the eastern part of town from the vegetable patch. It’s dark outside but… they didn’t really want to be around the others right now.)

(Some sort of flying animal caught their eye. A bat? Did Dormont have bats?)

(As the flying creature approached, they could make out the shape of a bird and a rectangle. A piece of paper, from the looks of it.)

(They watched the bird drop the message and turn back around. Bonnie remembered Nille sending a message to someone using a bird. This must be something similar.) 

(After reading the message, Bonnie thought. They really didn’t want to talk to anybody, but that did seem like someone who did talk to them before. They remembered the nickname “Little Chef.” Didn’t they say something about being in Dormont? Was it even a “they”?)

(They already made their wish at the favor tree, but maybe the could make another? Wish to be strong, to be able to take care of themself? It didn’t sound like a bad idea to them, and it would give them an actual reason to go there, not just to meet up with some random stranger.)

(Bonnie decided to go the favor tree.)

Did you really spend all that time playing a single level while Bonnie was away? That speaks to either your skill or how brief they talked, but I guess since they're in good health there's no harm done. Doubt they'd appreciate knowing what you were doing if they were in proper peril, though, but that's speculation in this context.

"Bonnie isn't really the biggest fan of me right now... I would like things the be different! I would like to know I'm able to actually help them without them shouting at me!
