      His first reaction to the tug is to back away from it, not that this does him any good. He squints down to what he WANTS to assume is a child, but who knows with this place. Staring around for any kind of parents, Bojack grunts before snagging the bill. Did he need money? No. But he was a STAUNCH believer in fair trades. One his end, anyway.

It seemed like this was one of his more well thought out plans, or rather, his only one. He shifted through the cans, stacking them all to the side carefully as he spoke.

“Last year you said I was way to old to go trick-or-treating. And then you ate all my candy.” He looked up at Bojack “you’re always welcome to come with me” he offered. 

      There might be a deep down spark of concern in the back of Bojack’s eyes. Deep down in the sense that it was tucked neatly under layers and layers of cynicism towards the sudo-roommate. At the mention of last year though, the actor was back to sneering at the other.

      The horse sits up more confidently, ready to tackle the question with a finesse only a DEEP and PROFESSIONAL actor could provide. Sure, he probably did read into his own characters and medias too much, but that doesn’t stop him from getting excited- !!!

      ⭐🐴 “ “ Okay, so OBVIOUSLY the horse isn’t named to be all the more applicable to the viewers. If he were to be given a definite name, it would TOTALLY take away from his likability. Not to mention how a name could totally twist how a viewer sees him! Like, what if he was named ‘David’, but a kid had a shitty-ass uncle named David, yeah? That kid doesn’t want to see that uncle as a friendly father figure, then the show would just be a lie. ” ”

Somehow, she wasn’t too surprised at that response. But she couldn’t just walk away from this mess. Call it her need to help others.

So here she was, crouching down and slowly stretching an arm out to calculate which part of the body would be the best to grab for helping him stand up.

“Er, you’re on the floor. And I don’t think you want to stay there. Please let me help you up.”

      He bats the arm away with little hesitation and even less accuracy. A tanned hand flaps past her own, only to flop against the floor once more. The ground was cold.... it was pleasant. Truly, this wasn’t his first time waking up to be like this, but he knew how to handle himself. Kind of.

    After hearing the other’s boasting about his fancy acting career for more than 10 minutes, Donald WAS passionately recounting tales of adventures he held with his uncle and sister. But, he stops when he’s suddenly interrupted.

    He blinks in surprise and simply look as Bojack begins, a frown beginning to settle in as he watches him lean back and shake his head. Then the horse says it.

    Now his temper was rubbed the wrong way and as if almost on cue he began his classic anger spout,

    “Hey! There’s NOTHING wrong with my voice you big palooka! You’re just hard of hearing!! Learn to keep up buddy! I did it listenin’ to you bluster about your stupid show!”  Donald squawked, beginning to angrily shake his fist. How dare he insult him!

      Bojack sat and took the anger unabashedly, ears tilting back serving as the only response. Lids drop down half way to complete his casually bored look, not amused by the spout of anger. As a celebrity, he had his own rants in the past, as well as just earlier today, so this was frankly unimpressive. It’s once the comment regarding his show is made when the physically larger star gets flustered.

      ⭐🐴 “ “ Hey! My show did JUST FINE for what it was made to do! Oh, I’m SO SORRY I didn’t get chased around by some chipmunks because I bullied them once. ” ” His thoughts freeze for a moment as the long skull sways to the side. “...Okay, maybe in one episode, but I recall it getting TOP NOTCH ratings! ” ”
