🏳️‍🌈 Help Us Build a Queer-Inclusive Mosque in Uganda 🕌

My Mukwaya Isah. I’m a queer Muslim from Uganda,I’m working to create Uganda’s first LGBTQIA+ inclusive mosque — a safe, spiritual home for queer Muslims like me, where we can pray and heal without fear.

🏳️‍⚧️ Too many queer Muslims are forced into hiding or exile. We deserve a place where Allah’s love welcomes every one of us.

🛠️ I’m currently organizing:

A safe mosque space in Kyengeera Town, Uganda

Community prayer, shelter, and protection

A voice for LGBTQIA+ Muslims in East Africa

🌍 I am looking for:

Supporters to help with shelter, land, and safety

Connections to queer Muslim organizations
