Downloading Duplicate Adhar Card

Adhar card is one of the most important identity cards for any Indian citizen. This card contains a unique identification number for every citizen. Here every detail about the person is registered. So, issuing an adhar card has become a necessity now. The government has taken many steps to make the process of availing adhar card easier for all. Through eeadhar, you can not only register for adhar card but also can update or get a duplicate one.

If you have lost your adhar card there is nothing to worry about. You can always have a duplicate one. The process of availing the copy of your adhar card depends on if you have your adhar number or the acknowledgement sleep with you or not. You will have to proceed in two different way to have the adhar card. These are listed here.

1.If you have the adhar number you can collect the duplicate copy in the following way:

First, you need to go to their online portal. Eaadhar.uidai.gov.in is the official site for any details related to adhar card.

After entering the site you will have to follow some instruction provided at the site. Fill up the required fields with the basic details about you. Also, remember to provide the adhar card number.

The next step is to have a one time password to complete the action. For this click on the tab which has appeared on your screen.

Once you click the send option you will be sent the password to the phone number you have provided when registering for the adhar card.

Then enter that password at the OTP section of the window. Then press the validate and download option.

After that, you will enter another page where you will find the option of downloading adhar card. By entering the residence pin click the option “Duplicate Aadhar Card in PDF”.

Before printing the copy check all the details. If there is any mistake you can change it easily from this site. After that download the copy of your adhar card.

2.      If you have lost you aadhar card number you can collect adhar card in this way:

First enter the website like before and find the option of receiving lost adhar cards.

You will find two options there. One is Adhar No and the other is Enrolment no. You will have to choose one according to your demand.

Enter your email addresses, full name and the registered mobile phone number at the required field.

After passing the security code ask for the OTP by clicking on the GET OTP option.

The OTP will be then sent to your mobile number and email address.

Use that OTP at the relevant space of the website and click the verify option.

Then you will be sent your adhar card or the enrolment number to your mobile phone via SMS.

Once you have got the card number follow the first process to get your adhar card. You will have to provide your name, adhar card number, enrolment number, security text, Pin Code and mobile phone number and go to the next option.

By following these two techniques you can download a duplicate copy of your adhar card easily. This process doesn't take much time. Besides, it is also time-saving and easy to complete.
