Ryunosuke: Iced Vanilla latte

Susato: White Chocolate Mocha w/ mocha drizzle

Sholmes: As many expresso shots it takes to fill up a Venti 4/5, then a ton of cream on top.

Iris: Vanilla Bean Frappuccino

Kazuma: Cappuccino w/ 2 pumps of caramel syrup

Van Zieks: He’s too good for Starbucks, but is happy when someone occasionally brings him a latte

Gina: Java Chip Frappuccino

Mikotoba: Caramel Macchiato

Gregson: Black coffee, though he likes it more when Gina sneaks some sugar into it and he pretends not to notice

Stronghart: Black but if someone tried to put sugar in it he’d throw it at them

Natsume: Decaf Mocha

Phoenix Wright Characters and Movie Night

Phoenix: He tries to keep everyone in check and paying attention to the movie. It never works out. This group is far too chaotic for one mere mortal to keep in line for multiple movies in a row.

Maya: She talks nearly the entire time, reacting to every single thing out loud. She gets really into the plot of every movie and makes a lot of wrong guesses about where it’s going.

Mia: She spends more time paying attention to Maya’s antics than the movie. She’ll sometimes try to help Maya with her theorizing. Unfortunately for everyone, that tends to mean the entire movie is spoiled because she figures everything out during the first act.

Pearl: She gets really into every romance (be it a romcom or a romantic side plot) and ships characters together. Sometimes she, Maya, and Larry get into debates about this, much to everyone’s annoyance.

Edgeworth: He has no suspicion of disbelief to be heard of. People need to spend the whole movie either reminding him over and over that it’s fiction or let him go off about plot holes. Despite this, it’s clear to everyone that he enjoys these nights and get more into the movies than anyone else.

Gumshoe: He’s mostly here for the free popcorn and entertainment. Most movies go over his head unless they’re comedies, in which case he laughs at pretty much everything.

Franziska: She says she doesn’t want to be here and finds everyone annoying, but she keeps showing up with her own movie suggestion. She’s the only one that ever sides with Edgeworth when he goes off about a plot hole

Godot: He talks a lot about the themes of everything they watch, often missing the point entirely and reading way too much into things. Mia is the only one that indulges him.

TGAA Characters and Movie Night

Ryunosuke: He talks throughout the entire movie. Theorizing about what’s going to happen, pointing out actors he recognizes, ect. None of his theories are right except the one thing he said near the beginning of the movie as a joke.

Susato: She gets super into every movie they watch, munching on popcorn the whole way through. She says “that’s my new favorite movie” after nearly every single one.

Sholmes: He theorizes like Ryunosuke does, but gets way more into it. He pauses the movie to go in-depth and debate things with people. They’d get mad or take the remote from him, but most of the times the theories he comes up with are more entertaining than the movie.

Iris: She is the closest to a genuine film buff of the group. She constantly talks about cinematography and directing choices and other things no one but her cares about. Still, they all agree she’d be a better filmmaker than most of the people they watch.

Kazuma: He’s the only one that makes any effort to keep the others on task and pay attention to the movie. Then he notices something inaccurate or a plot hole and will not stop talking about it. Sometimes Ryunosuke or Sholmes step into fill the plot hole, but their explanations are never enough.

Van Zieks: He rarely shows up, but when he does everyone knows they need to watch whatever movie he brought. He’s the only one that can get people to shut up and enjoy the movie.

Gina: She never pays attention to the move unless it’s a action scene. She’s mostly there to eat people’s food and watch the chaos unfold. It’s also funny to watch Kazuma slowly unravel every. single. time. She sometimes points out plot holes just to annoy him.

Mikotoba: He’s the one hosting the movie nights and he has no idea why he keeps putting himself through this mess. Then he sees his daughter have fun and his partner dance around the room making predictions and he knows exactly why.

Gregson: No one ever wants to watch the dated, black and white noir films he brings every time. He spends every night talking about how much better his movie would be. They finally watch his pick one night and all get super into it, especially Gina. He’d never felt more vindicated in this life.

Stronghart: Keeps on pausing the movie to see how much time is left until he’s kicked out. No one knows why they invited him in the first place.

Natsume: No one invited him but they don’t want to kick him out. He reacts to everything 100x more emotionally than anyone else. Him and Susato tend to group up during movie nights to share their enthusiasm with each other.

Phoenix Wright Characters and Getting Drunk

Phoenix: He tries to not drink to much so he can watch out for Maya. Sometimes he succeeds, other times he ends the night yelling objection at everyone as Edgeworth drags him to bed.

Maya: She’s a social drunk. She’ll talk to anyone and once she’s got her eyes on you there is no stopping her. She also gets very clingy and hugs people a lot.

Mia: She likes to think she’s a very refined drunk, but that’s only because she doesn’t remember it well. She slurs her words a lot and constantly gets distracted.

Edgeworth: He doesn’t drink that much and when he does it’s only a little bit of wine. On the rare occasions that someone convinced him to drink more than that, he showed himself to be a shockingly happy drunk. He even once said he’d give Gumshoe a raise, though he unfortunately didn’t remember doing so the next morning and Gumshoe didn’t want to bring it up.

Gumshoe: Oh boy does he get friendly while drunk. The dream pairing is to get drunk Gumshoe and drunk Maya to talk to each other all night because neither of them want to shut up.

Franziska: She’s an emotional drunk. This is basically the only time you will see her be honest about her feelings and maybe cry a little bit. It’s a weird side of her that no one is brave enough to address afterwards

Judge: Let’s be honest, he’s drunk for 99% of the cases he handles. It’s the only explanation.

Godot: There are shots in his coffee and you cannot convince me otherwise

Larry: He is banned from every bar in town.

TGAA Characters and Getting Drunk

Ryunosuke: He’s not as big of a lightweight as many people think he is. It usually takes a few drinks for him to feel anything. When he does, it’s impossible for him to stop talking. Not a single thought will pass through his head that isn’t said out loud. 

Susato: The biggest lightweight of them all. It takes nearly nothing to get her drunk. She is 100% a happy drunk. Everything is funny and she won’t stop talking about how much she loves everyone.

Sholmes: Shockingly, he doesn’t get drunk very often. When it does, it actually calms him down a lot. He’s also a lot more honest when drunk and will talk to you about pretty much anything. He isn’t a sad drunk but he borders on it.

Kazuma: Loud drunk. He loses all control over his vocal cords. If Ryunosuke is with him, they will haver intense debates about things that don’t matter that amounts mostly to them saying “objection!” back and forth. If alone, he will debate random strangers and somehow win.

Van Zieks: He’s been a functioning alcoholic for 10 years. It’s impossible for him to get drunk. Or he’s always drunk. Who knows?

Gina: She is not allowed to drink unsupervised. Any control over herself she had while sober is completely lost when she gets drunk. If left on her own, she will end the night running around town trying to  “solve all the crime!”

Mikotoba: He is a very flirty drunk. He also dances a lot, so it’s good that he only ever gets drunk alone with Sholmes or at a party.

Phoenix Wright Characters and Pets

Phoenix: He radiates dog energy. I can totally imagine him taking care of one, though I feel like Maya and Pearl will do most of the walking. They will also push Phoenix to get a small dog not knowing that small dogs bark more. Phoenix will occasionally get used to the barking and grow to really love the dog.

Maya: She loves pretty much all animals and wants to get all of them. Once she starts getting more into her medium duties, she’ll decided to get a white bunny that she keeps in her room.

Mia: She had a cat that she took to work with her all the time. Pearl inherited her when Mia died.

Pearl: She loves Mia’s cat and takes very good car of her, those Pearl does give her too much food sometimes. When she’s old enough to get a pet of her own, she gets a dog that gets along with cats.

Edgeworth: He doesn’t have time for pets. If he did, it’s a old cat or nothing.

Gumshoe: He’d love a pet but he doesn’t have the money for pet food. If he did, he’d get a big dog.

Franziska: She gets a very fluffy cat that’s very territorial and scratches everyone but her. Franziska dotes on him and has even managed to teach him a few tricks. She occasionally practices prosecuting by pretending he is the defense attorney.

Judge: He has a much of nearly identical hamsters at home that he can’t tell apart, but he loves all of them.

Godot: He has a large hunting dog that barks at everyone. He sleeps at the foot of Godot’s bed every night.

Larry: He bought a bird once when he was 18. The bird few away the next day, throwing Larry into a self-pity spiral that lasted months.

TGAA Characters and Pets

Ryunosuke: Let’s face it, this man has enough chaotic energy on his own. He does not need a pet. He also doesn’t seem all that interested in animals in canon. Nevertheless, he’s a dog person, right? He shows interest in getting a fish in one of the Escapades, but I don’t think a fish could keep him entertained. Dogs are the way to go. I definitely think he could have used one during his many months without Susato and not able to work between games.

Susato: Cats. She wants cats and lots of them. And she deserves it. I have full confidence that she will care for them well. I can also imagine her with a bunny. She’s one of the few characters where I think giving her a bunny is a good idea. The other one is Iris.

Sholmes: He has dog energy and therefore should not be allowed near any of them. As a matter of fact, no one should let him get any pets. I’m not saying this because I think he will hurt them; he proved time and time again that he only almost kills himself for science, not other people. Still, I think we can all agree he’s not gonna remember to take care of any animals. Let’s leave that to Iris.

Iris: I can imagine Iris with pretty much any animal. Cats are the obvious choice, but I don’t know if that’s her animal, you know? For some reason I started thinking about snakes and the idea won’t leave my head. I can totally imagine her having a large, friendly snake.

Kazuma: He, like Ryunosuke, is a dog person. At the inevitable point in the future where they move in together as life-long partners (romantic or platonic), they are getting a dog. Probably a Japanese, medium size dog, like Kishu. Kazuma will do most of the work but the dog will like Ryunosuke more.

Gina: One again, we’ve got a dog girl. this time it’s canon. She’s so good with Toby and I hope she is allowed to take care of him forever. Apparently she has a natural talent with dogs, given how fast Toby grew on her. Maybe she’d be put in charge of them once the other officers start to trust her more.

Mikotoba: If Sholmes does decided to get a pet, let’s hope Mikotoba is there for help out. I imagine he wouldn’t personally seek out a pet. He seems like the kind of guy that’s content on his own. Even so, if someone like Sholmes or Susato got one I’m sure he’d help take care of them. I imagine he’d be best with small creatures like guinea pigs.

Gregson: He does not want pets. Too much of a hassle. His time taking care of Stronghart’s parrot were the worst of his life. At least, that’s what he’d tell everyone. The truth is a stray cat snuck into his flat a while ago and Gregson has grown to love her. If anyone found out, he’d insist that he can’t make the animal go away.

Stronghart: Do not let him near animals. I do not trust this man for the exact opposite reason I don’t trust Sholmes with animals.
