Extra Credit 3D Printed Objects
For the extra credit 3d-printed objects I chose to print an enlarged model of a tablet and a model of the human brain. I chose to print a tablet because drugs are the main topic of my project. I also chose to print a model of the human brain because the Dream Drug is created sing the chemicals interactions that is apparent through the brain scan that is carried on the volunteer while answering some questions that will be asked by some of the researchers.

Eighth Constant Output Post:Taking Photos around Dekalb Market

For this post I chose to go to Dekalb food market to take photos because it has a lot of bright and colorful light signs. I was able to experiment a lot with depth of field and ISO settings to get the pictures that I posted here.

Seventh Constant Output Post: Taking Photos in Soho
I am really happy with how these photos turned out. They were very spontaneous on our way looking for pizza after a long study session around Washington Square park. Somehow we ended up in Soho that night and we are just wandering around the streets taking artsy photos of anything cool that caught our attention.

Sixth Constant Output: Trip to Chelsea Galleries

I took those pictures during a field trip that my photography class went on. For the field trip we visited different photography galleries. I found those galleries very interesting and eye opening. I really liked that the galleries were by different photographers and for different causes.

Fifth Constant Output: Mashrou’ Leila NYC Performance
I discovered this band right before the end of the summer. I was amazed that such a band existed, but at the same time I knew more and more musicians in the Arab world are becoming more and more common. Mashrou’ Leila is a Lebanese four-member indie rock band . The band is made up if four members
I love this band’s music so much. It’s very different form the style of music that I would usually listen to.

Letter from the future
Dear people from the past,
We hope that living in the old times hasn’t been too hard on you. We understand that it has been hard lately. Too many things are falling out of your control. And things are not exactly going like you have been wanting them to. You are not where you want to be. You want to be better, but it’s not that easy. How could it ever get better, you wonder? What are you doing wrong? What is wrong with you? Why can’t you be good enough like everyone else? Everyone else seems to be doing fine. Everyone else seems to have these picture perfect lives. Strong and charming, loving partners and promising careers. You wonder if you’ll ever be as good as them? And what the future has hidden for you? But for the meanwhile you want something to help you forget all of the things that have been all of this distress. Something that will help you get through this until it all maybe at some point gets better. We can help you through this. Just give us your trust and we will help you find the perfect escape. To do this we will introduce you to an object from the far future that will reshape everything you know about drugs. In the future we have been able to create a machine that scans brain activity while participants talk about their favorite/experiences. The machine uses the collected data to define the ingredients that have to be used in the making of the drugs that will help the participants relive a virtual reality that is very similar to their favorite memories. We hope that these pills will help make people’s realities more bearable and the experiences of taking drugs safer and more predictable.

Medium three: A sample of a possible comic that I might create for the project

Forth Input: Brooklyn Bridge

Brooklyn Bridge has always been a place I wanted to photograph at night ever since I started taking pictures with a professional camera. It just happened to be that my friend wanted to take long exposure photos on Brooklyn Bridge too And that is what lead to the short trip to Brooklyn Bridge that I am going to talking about in this post. It was a very spontaneous decision to go to the bridge that day. It was a long weekend and I was planning to take the phots on Sunday. But it was so nice out that day and I really thought I could take advantage of my friend staying back and not going until the next day. Brooklyn Bridge is one of my favorite monuments in New York. And being able to see all the high skyscrapers and the lights at night is always a very special thing to me. It is very easy to forget about how much I have wanted to be in New York especially with me living in Brooklyn. But whenever I see the cityscape and all these lights I am instantly reminded of why I have chosen to live in New York. During this trip to Brooklyn Bridge my friend helped me learn a lot about using shutter speed and long exposures. As a result we were able to take very beautiful pictures of the cars passing on the bridge and the bridge itself. I was actually very impressed with how the photos came out.

Third Input: My Visit to Photoville

In this post I am planning to talk about my trip to Photoville. Photoville is an annual photo festival that is produced by United Photo Industries. It is a physical platform for photographers from different backgrounds that allows them to get their art out to a bugger audience. I was really looking forward to going to this festival that my friend told me about. Then after my Photography class professor made it a part of an assignment to go to Photoville, I got more incentive to go to the festival. The festival was located in the dumbo area next below the Brooklyn Bridge. We went to the festival on a Friday half an hour before sunset. When we got to the festival the first thing that caught my eye were the lights strings that were hanging between the cabins. The cabins contained different photos of a very diverse group of photographers. Each cabin had its own style and message, There were documentary photos of nature and there were cabins that hosted photos that addressed social justice. There was also an interactive cabin that aimed to teach people new things about their senses and bodies.

The Cabins were filled with photos taken by different photographers from a very diverse selection of photographers. Some of the cabins were painted in bright beautiful colors like in the photo above. We climbed up the stairs to the cabins on top right before the sunset and we were able to take very beautiful photos of the cabins combined and beautifully composed with the Brooklyn Bridge on top with a cotton candy sky in the background. I was very happy with the photos that I took. I also took some artsy photos of my friend looking at the photos and looking towards the Brooklyn Bridge.
