i swear, in round 7, if we get flashbacks from luka and it turns out he was THERE witnessing everything ivantill from the party to the stage, i will fucking riot AJSBAJBDJS
or maybe luka finds mizi and hyuna
picture this: mizi hovering over a bleeding hyuna and they suddenly hear footsteps. mizi looks up in alarm, blocking hyuna the best she can, and her panic doesn’t dissipate when a familiar figure appears. luka. hyuna’s already on the verge of unconsciousness and can’t even bring herself to open her eyes. the only sounds that can be heard is that of the siren and her own harsh breathing.
luka stares at her quietly for a long moment with unreadable eyes, completely ignoring mizi’s tense frame, before he walks away.
mildly sexual language in this one. cut just in case there are some young'uns following me.
i feel like a lot of this fandom sees hyuna being tough and cool and a natural leader and having toned muscles and immediately jumps to "masculine in every way, takes on only traditionally masc roles, not interested in showing off any feminine qualities" which. strikes me as really weird when this is the character we're talking about:
like, I'm all for making characters push gender boundaries, but also... idk i think someone can be tough and muscular and tall and respectable and an adrenaline junkie and ALSO enjoy being feminine (and a little slutty about it) at the same time.
i think a lot of folks correlate feminine traits with weakness and sexuality with a lack of self-respect but that's just. a mistake lmao
don't be afraid to write characters finding joy in their feminine side. i promise it doesn't make you a misogynist or whatever the hell. in fact, it's the opposite. femininity is not inherently diminutive.
But also, in hyuna's case specifically, i think there's... absolutely nothing wrong with letting her have a break from being tough once in a while and allowing her a moment of weakness (or submissiveness, because this is equally a fandom thing with her in NSFW contexts as well lmao) bc like!!! girl is constantly having to be the adult and organize everyone and be a role model for everyone, even as a kid she had to be a mediator and the popular kid to look up to. she shows no weakness to anyone, out of necessity, even when she is very clearly mentally unwell and probably drained beyond belief.
her being in feminine clothes or acting charming in a more traditionally feminine way doesn't make her weak or delicate, but also, idk i think hyuna does have a weak side. i think it'd do her well to be treated sweetly and cared for (or to give up control to someone else completely and get absolutely wrecked without having to worry about dignity).
i think she and luka are much the same in that respect: they both are forced into roles that require constant active maintenance, with pressure to be what others need them to be, held up by their own dire situations that demand they don't falter for even a moment. everything is calculated when it comes to the both of them. even when hyuna is having fun and being coy, it's in front of a camera, it's polished. none of that reliable, nothing-can-break-me toughness is the truth. we know that from seeing her panic over luka-- or rather, over her feelings surrounding luka.
whenever someone sees her as nothing but a tough, cool leader who has everything under control i go:
in conclusion, hyuna is neither completely masculine nor completely in-control and i will not have you flattening the intrigue out of one of my two top faves thanks ✌️
