The Wreck of the Lysistrata
In the wheelhouse of the Lysistrata, Captain Soros, who had been drinking with the guests earlier, decided to seek a safe harbor to wait out the storm which seemed to be worsening. He told the first mate who actually had the wheel, “Steer for the harbor at that small island we passed earlier.” The mate replied, “Captain, the entrance to that harbor is guarded by large rocks just below the surface. It’s a difficult passage even in calm seas.”
“Do as I say, it’s likely our only option.” The first mate hesitated, and the captain took the wheel.”
He overcorrected going by the hidden rocks on the right as a large wave pushed the ship sharply to the left. Then the captain brought the wheel about to the right too quickly causing the ship’s rudder to hit the sharp edge of the left rock. This snapped the rudder off.
With no way to steer the small ship, Captain Soros knew it was doomed. The waves tossed the ship around, almost spinning it. Captain Soros said to the first mate, “Sound the alarm and prepare the passengers to abandon ship!”
The second mate heard the alarm horn as Sir Reynard, Just Jaquen, and his camera man were getting up from the poker table. He shouted to the three men, “Follow me to the lifeboat, then I’ll go help the other passengers.”
Below deck in Cabin number two at the ship’s bow, the alarm roused Richard and Michelle from their post coital sleep. He said to her, “Grab a life jacket and get dressed. Quickly now.” Tony had not yet fallen asleep and heard the alarm horn. He immediately left his cabin, only to note that Anna’s room was still locked from the outside. He turned and went back into his room to retrieve the key to the lock. And in her cabin, Alessa – somewhat stunned from being thrown to the floor, blinked into wakefulness as the alarm horn sounded.
As this was happening, the ship drifted, sideways and rudderless, into the swale of a huge wave that almost showed the jagged rocks. From the wheelhouse, the captain and mate saw the bow of the ship disappear from view as the stern rose up. Then the wave came crashing down on the ship, as if a giant hammer hit it while the rocks served as an anvil. The force of the wave broke the ship’s keel, and the ship split in two parts. The rift was running from midships on the port side , thru the staircase leading to the deck, to back third of the starboard side.
The front third of the ship remained remarkably intact as the force of the waves pushed it away from the shattered rear third. Richard and Michelle rushed down the hall towards the area where the  staircase had been. There they encountered Tony, turning the key in the lock to Anna’s cabin. He was able to open it and went inside where he found Anna, still groggy from the combination of the seasickness drugs and brandy Sir Reynard had given her. She was struggling to get out of bed and was still naked. He grabbed her arm and said, “Come on, the ship is sinking! We have to get to the lifeboat!”
On the other side of what had been the staircase area, Alessa saw the right wall of her cabin basically disappear. From this opening she saw the rest of the ship drifting away to the left while cold water pooled around her bare feet. Standing there -still wearing only one of Sutton’s old night shirts, Alessa thought to herself, “My God! The ship has split in two, and my end is sinking!” She screamed out to the quickly disappearing image of the remainder of the ship, “Help me! Help me!”
But no one on the other two thirds of the ship heard her over the sound of the howling wind.

Sandrine
One of the girls that Anne Marie had purchased at the slave auction in Malaga that had occurred the night before the ill-fated plan of Tristan and Ari’s younger brother, Nathan, to crucify poor Uta in front of a paying audience in the old Roman arena- was named Samantha, at least in her former life. Three years earlier, the girl then known as Samantha was a nineteen-year-old exchange student at the University of Prague. She was originally from a small village not far from Cambridge, England, and had been in Prague less than a full year. At the university, Samantha had made friends with two other girls, both from the Czech Republic. On the spring break, they planned to go to the beach at Split on the Adriatic Seacoast of Croatia. To do so they took a train first to Vienna, then to Budapest where they stayed in a youth hostel. The next morning, they boarded a train headed to Split going through Zagreb where they would have to change trains.
Upon their arrival in Zagreb, the three girls discovered that the train to Split would not arrive for four hours with another one thirty minutes later. While her friends were content to stay in the station, Samantha soon got bored and decided to sightsee around Zagreb. She didn’t notice the three men loitering by a van across the street from the train station. When the first train to Spit arrived and Samantha wasn’t back from sightseeing yet, her friends weren’t overly concerned. Katja said to Nadia, “Samantha said not to worry if she wasn’t back by the first train, she would just take the second one and we could meet up at the Split train station and then go on to our hotel by the beach.
But, of course, Samantha wasn’t on the second train either.

Almost six months later to the day, Anne Marie eyed a girl standing on a dais not far from the old Roman arena. Of course, she was – as were all the girls to be sold- completely naked. The girl was of medium height with a somewhat round and curvy figure; it appeared as though some baby fat was still lingering around her hips. She had a round face and her dark brunette hair was cut in a bob. Her brown eyes had a dazed look in them. Anne Marie sized her up and attributed the dazed look to having been recently ‘broken.’
Anne Marie thought to herself, “I’ve seen that same look on girls at Roissy when they emerge from training in the dungeon and realize that this will now be their life – the life of a sex slave.” She paused and looked closer at the young woman, tapped her riding crop on her knees in order to have the girl spread her legs, and thought, “With the proper make-up and possibly a new hair style, she might do well at Roissy.” Anne Marie then offered a bid of ten thousand Euros.
The bid was accepted, and the slave trader, a man who had a vaguely Balkan or possibly Turkish look about him, said to Anne Marie, “She is yours Madam.”
Anne Marie then asked, “What is she called?”
“She is yours now, Madame. She is called whatever you wish.”
And thus, Sandrine was born.

Aboard the Lysistrata: Part Four
As the storm literally bounced the Lysistrata around on the eastern Aegean Sea, Alessa had finally drifted off into a troubled sleep. The label on the seasickness patches had a warning about it possibly causing strange dreams. It turned out to be true. At home, cuddled in the California King bed that she shared with Sutton, Alessa often had erotic dreams. Usually these were about the times she had made love to other people – relative strangers or people she barely knew like Frank on the plane, or the chance encounters with Ralph in the park the time she was walking Hampton when he was a baby, or when she encountered the same man on her way to the perfume commercial in Colorado, or -rarer- her encounters with other models. Sometimes in such dreams, Alessa would awaken wet and aroused. Then she would do something to awaken Sutton, so they could make love. Or occasionally, Sutton might awaken Alessa in the middle of the night and take her. Regardless, Alessa never had any problems reaching a pleasant, if somewhat subdued, orgasm after these dreams.
But the dreams she had on this night were entirely different. Alessa was alone in her small cot-like bed on a rocking boat, and the dream was extremely vivid- erotic and violent. It took place in Roissy. Alessa was there, but not at Sutton’s request. Instead, she had been swooped up off a Paris street corner, tossed into the back of a van and spirited off to the Chateau. Once there strange, faceless men stripped off her clothes so that she was completely naked. As they did so, they made rude comments about her body and thrust fingers and hands into her sex, mouth, and rear. This was followed by a violent gang rape- again of all of Alessa’s openings. Then she was thrown into a dark cell only to find Anna, also naked, chained to the wall. Anna’s brand – a ‘T’ inside a circle was quite visible just above the slit of her sex. One of the faceless men said to Alessa, “After we flog you, we’re going to brand you also. But with an ‘S’ for slut.” And in the corner Alessa saw a brazier with red hot coals heating a branding iron.
In her dream, Alessa cried out to the faceless men, “Surely you don’t think you are going to brand me!”
The man replied, “Of course we are. We are going to mark you as a slave, as property of the Society and Chateau.”
“But you can’t, I am a free woman, not a slave.”
“The ring on your finger, to say nothing of the ring in your sex say otherwise.”
Alessa tried a different tack. “If I am a slave to anyone, it’s to Sutton. After all, he is the father of my son.”
“You may say that now but remember back. You became pregnant after you had gone to California without Sutton. You were cavorting with your girlfriends, and we kidnapped you off the beach. You were alone, but wearing the ring of the Society. Do you remember what happened afterwards?”
“Vaguely yes,” replied Alessa.
“Vaguely nothing!” shouted the faceless man. “We all took you. All of us. Why do you not think one of us is the child’s father?”
At this point a wave hit the little ship, so strong that it threw Alessa out of bed and onto the floor, waking her from her dream. She heard a loud alarm sounding.

Jeanne at Roissy: Part Four
In Anne Marie’s Office:
“Now Jeanne, do you understand what I have just told you? Do you know how we expect you to act going forward?” questioned Anne Marie. As she said this, she handed a tissue to Jeanne who was completely naked and still sobbing softly.
“Yes ma’am,” said Jeanne in a trembling voice.
Anne Marie continued, “Of course, if you no longer wish to be bound to Louis, I am sure Gaspar could make some sort of arrangement. That would, however, require you to leave Roissy. You would be cast out onto the streets of Paris without any of the benefits of Roissy. No free room, no free meals, and no pretty dresses to wear.” She paused, then continued, “And as a ‘free’ woman, you would forfeit that portion of the money you have earned here that is being saved for your old age. Do you understand what I am telling you?”
Jeanne looked at Anne Marie, blinking away tears that were still forming in her soft brown eyes.
Anne Marie continued, “But if you abide by what I have told you and get the foolish thought out of your mind that one day Louis might marry you, you are certainly welcome to remain here at Roissy. I’m quite sure that even if Louis marries, he will continue to come here, and when he does he will want to be with you. Things will basically continue as they have in the past for you. Understand?”
“Yes, ma’am.”
“That’s my good girl,” said Anne Marie. “Now, I’ll ring for James to take you back to the enclosure. You’ve already showered, so you will have time to fix your hair and make-up before your shift starts at noon.”
James appeared soon. Anne Marie said to him, “I think Jeanne and I have reached an understanding about things.” She looked at Jeanne, standing nearby and said, “Right, darling?”
Jeanne nodded and said, “Yes, ma’am.”
Anne Marie continued, looking at James, “Take her back to the refectory in the enclosure so that she may prepare for her duties today.”
James said, “Certainly,’ and then added, “Shall I merely escort her, or do you prefer that I take her leashed?” Saying this, he held up the metal leash, the same metal leash that he had used earlier to bring her to Anne Marie’s office.
Anne Marie paused for only a moment before saying, “Use the leash. Bind her hands behind her as before and attach the leash to the ring that pierces her. Jeanne is a slave and the personal property of the Valmont-Waingro family. She should be treated as such. It will remind her of her status in life.” She paused, then looking at Jeanne, she said, “And you are proud to be such, correct?”
Jeanne replied, “Yes, ma’am. I am proud to be the property of Louis.” As she said this, James was connecting the rings set in the leather bracelets Jeanne wore on her wrists behind her back. Then he knelt in front of her so that he could connect the end of the leash to the heavy ring piercing Jeanne’s labia.
“Not just Louis, the Valmont-Waingro family,” corrected Anne Marie.
“Yes, ma’am,” replied Jeanne as James led her from Anne Marie’s office.
