The purpose of it is to create a place where black artists can be represented and come together because I’ve noticed that creative black individuals tend to get lost in the shuffle, and it’s a little difficult to find and locate content from our peers.

I had a conversation with a poet last night. I said "I love big girls" and she looked at me and said "No, you like all women" and we had a discussion about people saying they love bigger women. She brought up some good points about how saying that can make it seem like a fetish, but at the end of the day, I just find myself drawn to women who are alil bigger. I've been raised around strong big black women and whoever I choose to spend the rest of my life with will most likely be one as well. If i can say "I love black women" and it be cool, I see no reason why me saying "I love big women" is seen as a purely sexualized fetish. But that's just my opinion. Thoughts?
