On this mission of modelling a breadtag, I learnt that there's a company that recycles the plastic from our tags and turns them into wheelchairs!!!!! Wholesome!!!!

oh look... a breadtag on my bread, how unusual... but then I walked away and saw this one sitting with its coaster friend on the lounge arm rest! omg!

Breadtags seem to be following me in my everyday life now... I saw one on the ground at the servo too but didn't have my phone on me

I revisited my model after some time and wanted to make it a series of melting flowers, as I’d just been writing an art essay and mentioned Salvador Dali and his persistence of memory melting clocks!

I started fiddling around with what I could create for my abstract model and was going to go with a pot plant but decided a vase would be way more fun

I really struggled to decide if I wanted to smooth my tag before printing or not, but that my literal reference bread tags were angular and it’d be more realistic if I didn't

I merged my vertices together and voila!!!!!! Bread tag!

I was very anxious about joining it together wrong so had this YouTube guy ‘Mr H’ help me make sure I was on the right track

I really played around with the multicast tool to try and create more edges to mould my curve of the tag

Totally forgot to take progress screenshots but I worked with only one side of the model and have duplicated the other to see what it looks like aesthetically so plan to delete this and re-duplicate it as I go and then weld it all together at the end for the final model... I decided it was an easier way to look through the model and make sure there were no extra faces peeping through.

True to my existence, I've somehow double extruded (I think) soooo I’ve saved the model but will be scrapping it and restarting UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I’ve been using the multicut tool to create more and more points to continue shaping and smoothing to replicate the original image as much as possible
