My full piece for @aatrucyzine! This was a free digital zine and you can download the whole thing right now. I wanted to draw a Trucy Gavin because it just seemed like a fun time. Thoughts on that below ⬇

I honestly am not sure what circumstances I think would need to happen in order for Kristoph to be interested in raising Trucy. I think he'd need to know about the perceive ability for it to happen but under those circumstances I can absolutely see him leveraging that shamelessly in court. I think he'd pressure her to give up on magic and go in to law, and I think she'd be very good at it and would not like it at all.

The biggest difference in behavior I'd picture for her is that rather than acting a little younger than she actually is to get people to write her off, she pivots the other way; transparently trying too hard to make herself seem older and more sophisticated than she actually is, which gets her underestimated in a completely different way.

i like to imagine that she's spent a decent amount of time at the borscht bowl club with phoenix and kristoph and has developed some fondness for phoenix over time. Maybe she will still help him cheat at poker as a favor. I think once zak gets murdered Phoenix might still ask for apollo as his lawyer because I can't see him feeling particularly good about asking a young girl to send her own adoptive father to prison, so it's much easier to send a complete stranger into that meat grinder. I do think trucy would be champing at the bit to send kristoph to jail, contrary to phoenix's beliefs, so i think she forcibly inserts herself into the courtoom as apollo's co-counsel with the argument that she's his senior, which is true. He's probably happy to have her there until shit starts getting real weird.

This past fall, I had the opportunity to contribute a piece to @aatrucyzine, a fanzine centered around Trucy Wright. I had a lot of fun workshopping what her bedroom would look like, how her casual wear could be, and alongside replaying aa4 it's made her one of my favorite characters in the entire franchise. hello! apologies for the radio silence (again), life's been super busy for us mods. between work, other projects, and a few family emergencies on my part spliced here and there it's been tough to get back to this project.

however, we did finish grading applications and emails w invites to our server will be sent out shortly (as in today)!

there have been a ton of super talented soon-to-be page artists & writers that have applied, but we're also looking for more merch artists as well. if you're interested in contributing to the zine but want to make something small (like an emote set / icon / phone bg), now's your chance!

hello! apologies for the late response, i never got the notification for this one. linking social media posts is totally fine! a lot of people have been uploading their pieces to their own personal gdrive folder and then linking each image individually as well. we've got social media posts, imgur links, and even a few discord attachments - all of which work perfectly, just as long as we can see the images!

Can i ask why only 5 writers? That’s not many for a free digital project, and i was hoping i might have better chances applying lol

5 writers is the gold standard for all of the fanzines (both digital and physical) that i've been in, and we plan on having fics that run around 2k words each. that's roughly 4 pages single spaced - since there are 5 writers, the total amount of writing should be ~20 pages. we plan on accepting 20 artists, so the zine will be approximately 20 pages of art and 20 pages of writing. hope this helps clarify!

hello! thank you so much for bringing this to our attention, i completely forgot to put this in the carrd. my gold standard for all the fanzines i have ran is that applicants must be at least 16+ in order to apply.

the fanzine itself is sfw, but there will likely be adults in the discord server we make for communication purposes. those with no age listed in their bio or on their page will likely not be accepted for the safety of our contributors. hope this answers your question!
