WHISTLER VIBE
The tourism Whistler newsroom is a very structured and visually appealing database. The information on the website is precise and easy to access. It is also very customer-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. On a newsletter, news release, or media release, there are always pictures accompanied by a social media link and then the information in writing. This setup is very structured and allows for the reader to be very engaged. Compared to other news releases, they are a bit more advanced and connected to the public. If I was a journalist, something I would take from this website is the picture organization of the newsletter. I also fancy the chronological order of the media releases. This is very important once it comes to organizing and outline information for the public.

For target, I would say the buyer persona a viable buyer persona would be a middle and upper-middle-class woman with children. I selected This buyer persona because Target is a slightly more expensive store. It’s not completely above budget but it’s not a dollar general. I also chose a mother because the target has a lot of items targeted for families and the primary caregiver in most families is a woman. The other buyer persona for target Would be College students who are shopping for dorm room essentials. Target pride yourself on having a variety of items that are necessary for setting up small homes and offices. This makes target a good option for college students who are looking to furnish there are apartments and dorm rooms. The channels I would use to speak to them are social media advertisements and magazine advertisements. Teens are prominent on social media and the older generation is more inclined to view magazines.

A podcast I find very interesting is the no chill podcast by Gilbert Arenas. Arenas is a former basketball player and as a result runs a basketball podcast. It’s easy to see that Gilbert Arenas is a very passionate basketball fan. On this podcast, new episodes are released every week usually around the same day and time. As an avid basketball Fanatic, This basketball podcast has everything needed for an entertaining and content filled podcast. Arenas also invites former basketball players on the show in order to gather perspective. Podcasting makes sense for this show instead of conventional methods because it adds a conversationalist approach and a visual layer in order for fans to gain more of a sense of community.

In the post by Domestic Terror, the brand is representing the next drop of clothing through the meaning of the word terror. This post essentially reflects on the idea that everyone has something that terrifies them or has terrified them in the form of a childhood experience or a fear. The brand is representing these fears and taking back of the power against these fears in the form of art such as clothing. 
In the post by Apple, they are using an artist representation of the water crisis in the certain country that they are visiting to promote the quality of the video camera. They are also bringing light to this water crisis in order to spread public awareness and get relief. They combine promoting their product with helping the world become a better place in a way that warms the heart. 
In this picture by Nike, they are bringing awareness to rollerskating and equality. By featuring This women’s group of roller skaters they are hoping to spread gender equality And body equality to their customers and everyone else that is watching.

The video I selected was the Cool Kicks sneaker shopping video with Pooh shiesty. The video is essentially the rapper getting interviewed while he shops and scans through the merchandise the store has. This video does not feel like a commercial because is it is set up in the form of an interview. The rapper talks about his life and the type of shoes he wore growing up. The brand uses this interview to promote new and upcoming shoes that they have in store while also promoting their current selection to fans of the artist. In the comments on the video, there is a lot of support for the artist and the type of shoes that he enjoys wearing. This video has a lot of views and serves as a great way to commercialize the Cool Kicks brand.

TAKE AWAYS
After going through the co-schedule blog post, I was able to learn a great deal of valuable information. There were many great takeaways in each example. The ones I felt were most important were: 
Reinforcing the idea that your organization creates a community.
Showing your audience how to create an experience when they visit you
Earning your audience's trust through the content you create.
All three of these examples have to do with creating or forming a sense of community or a community itself. It is critical to make people feel like they belong in a certain niche group or community. Reinforcing the idea that your organization creates a community is critical because it helps people feel more comfortable when using your service. The sense of a community brings a lot of relief to different customers. Showing the optimal experience customers can have helps them select your brand when compared to others. It also lets the customer get a preview of what is to come. And last but not least earning your audience trust through the content you create is essential because you can possibly get a lifetime and loyal member. You have to constantly put out content that your audience expects or would appreciate.

A website I believe to be content-rich is the ESPN home website. ESPN is a database for sports information, news, and statistics for just about every sport that exists. ESPN gives real-time data, scores, and analysis to millions of individuals around the world. The database is easily navigable and user-friendly. The structure and layout of the website make it easy to find subcategories of different sports efficiently. The visual aspects and elements of the website are aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Additionally, it adds to the overall ambiance and unity of the database. If I could add anything or change an aspect of ESPN’s layout, it would be to add more primary colors to the website or possibly include a dark mode for optimal viewing at night.

Six months since the establishment of the brand, domestic Terror clothing has expanded exponentially. The company has become a staple player in the underground fashion industry in the Midwest. The company has also been boosted by the album DT 4Ever which references the brand frequently. The second official drop is centered around the black man as a target of death and the controversial justice system in America. This message is promoted through the use of symbolism. The unique designs on the hoodies and the vibrant but eerie coloring on the sets aids in creating the aesthetic. 
The collection was released in early 2021 and has already garnered massive support and positive feedback in the underground community. Domestic terror clothing seeks to take this support and build off of it for the future.

They are known for taking customer feedback and responding to customers' suggestions and concerns. Due to having a strong social media identity, Sony receives an immense amount of feedback in their comments. As a result, they sometimes unable to respond.

The viral YouTube video I chose was the gorilla glue lady. This video is currently the most viral in the world. In the video, the lady purposely uses gorilla glue to slick down her hair after running out of hair product. As expected, gorilla glue did what it was supposed to and her hair ended up stuck permanently. This video is appealing to the audience because it shows the stupidity of the lady in a comical manner. The video shows the gorilla glue company as potent because their product sticks to anything.

Social media is very important when managing a crisis. Since the advent of social media, There have been several issues that have ravaged the world as a whole. For example, COVID 19, the national crisis in Nigeria, and the Muslim genocide in China. In all of these events, social media has played a big role in informing people about the seriousness and importance of the matter. Instagram played a big role in keeping the public informed during the pandemic. They also assisted with locating different places for medical help. Social media also serves as a way to show world support and a united front Against significant issues. If Social media chatter is ignored then it could lead to people not being informed enough regarding historical events. It could also lead to someone’s voice not being heard. On the other hand, if the chatter is ignored then an average person might be able to bypass some of the mis-information that results from social media.

Selecting two brands that do a great job Delivering their messages on social media was a slightly daunting task due to the sheer volume of brands in the world. I eventually narrowed it down to a brand that stands out to me and an upcoming local brand in the Midwest. Fenty by Rihanna was the first and Domestic Terror the latter. I chose Fenty because the brand stands for a lot more than just the artist behind it. As multi-faceted and talented as Rihanna is in the music industry, she translated this brilliance into the fashion industry. In the process, she built a brand that promotes women's empowerment all around the world. She also built a better brand that popularized Women of all shapes and sizes in the fashion industry. Fenty is popular on all social media platforms but primarily Facebook and Instagram where they promote their message of unity and acceptance among women. They also help curb the problem of body shaming in America and around the world. Rihanna is effective because she has a strong social media following and uses that following to spread awareness.
The next brand I selected was Domestic Terror. Domestic Terror is a brand founded in St.Louis, Missouri with headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. The brand was formed to Defy the expectations set for the young black man in America. The brand was also established to destigmatize how the world views creatives. With artistic inspiration stemming into Musical artistry and a successful Clothing brand to follow suit, Domestic Terror is changing the way the world views the young black man. Domestic Terror has an imprint on Instagram and has a local following where the brand promotes its message of positivity and creative expression to society.
