I never thought about it like this 😬 and here I thought myrinne was one of the best characters :(

I know I’m late to the party, but I couldn’t find any answer to this.

Three people fell from Mt. Taygetos that night; the priest, Alexios, and Kassandra. We know that Kassandra landed right next to the priest who fell together with Alexios, who is presumably also nearby. We know Myrinne went down there and collected Alexios after the fall.

So why was Myrinne convinced Kassandra was dead?

She was down there, must have searched until she found baby Alexios. Wouldn’t a mother have searched frantically for both her children? Shouldn’t she have doubted her daughter’s death when the body was nowhere near the other two? Especially since Alexios survived the fall, then shouldn’t she have believed her daughter may have survived too?
