I was finally able to achieve something I've been dreaming about for years now, only for circumstances to allow me to not grab it whilst I can lol. Funny how life turns out isn't it. Nevertheless, alhamdulilah always, Allah's plans for me are better than my dreams...

Haven't had a sound night's sleep in God knows how long. Haven't had the pleasure of sleeping before 5am in God knows how long either. Have to say, even though my life is semi falling apart right now, I'm feeling so blessed, content and appreciative and it's a wonderful feeling. We need to sometimes stop and ponder during our moments of weakness on this line "...for We are nearer to him than our jugular vein." [50:16] This sense of contentment and inner peace wouldn't have come about, had I not stopped and appreciated just how close God is to me

I don't think I've ever been so shocked with the way my life has turned out. Literally 1 year ago I said "if someone told me a year ago that my life would turn out this way, I wouldn't have believed them", and I can't believe I'm saying it again. From my mindset, to friendships, to lifestyle, I can't get over it, everything has changed. Can't exactly comment on whether or not I'm happy with it, but I guess I'm content. There are a lot of things I really miss, but then again, a lot of lessons learnt. Not everyday life slapping me in the face, sometimes give me a warning lol
