i hate how for comic villains being a bigger threat to the hero is seen as the end all be all for so many people. "if the riddler is muscular, then he can be an even bigger threat to batman!" okay but why do i want that. what makes that interesting. its good for characters to have flaws and to challenge only specific parts of their enemies. it allows for more diverse stories. nobody cares about interesting stories anymore
